Do you think Golding has a chance to be elite?
No, I don't. He hasn't even proven to be an elite DC yet and I'm supposed to think he's just been a diamond-in-the-rough head coach this whole time that will have Ole Miss in the natty convo every year?

Has the Ole Miss judge cleared him yet?

He's QB3 in both Field Yates' draft rankings and in CBS' Draft Prospect rankings behind Mendoza and Ty Simpson, but his overall prospect ranking is in the hundreds. This basically means he's a 4th-round prospect right now.
These two statements are mutually exclusive. He either is not QB3 or he is not overall 100+. Before the playoffs I would agree with the 100+ but he acquitted himself very well in the playoffs even in the loss.

He is not quite 6' and he does not have a big arm. He just doesn't fit the NFL profile.
Some team would take a shot on him in the 3rd round imo. 75th pick or something.

All I am saying is if he is 75th pick then he is not QB3 on the draft.

Will Deuce leave if Chambliss clears? I'd like to see them battle out to see who wins the starting job.

I’d call undrafted free agent “plummeting” from the third round!

No Deuce is coming in to learn the system and be the guy after Trinidad wins the heisman next season.

Don't forget Nuss. 4k yards as a junior and a borderline 1st rounder. You'd have to pay somebody to take him now.
Nuss was not a borderline first rounder. He had a 3rd round projection too iirc. But your point stands.

Why would his draft stock plummet? He’s a great player. Was the best player in all of Div II in 24, and will be on the NFLs radar starting the season.

They had mock drafts from quite a few experts that had him as the number one overall pick. Most had him top 5.

I have got where I look at a post or response and if it's from an LSU poster, I don't even read it.
That's a broad generalization. There have many responses from LSU fans supporting him being allowed to return.
Plus, if you want to talk about spreading lies, Ole Miss fans, including their social media schmucks have fabricated more lies, falsehoods and dirt regarding Kiffin than you shake a magnolia at. So, on behalf of many Tigers I say.... frick you!

In fairness Nuss was one of the favorites to win the Heisman last season (Tied for second in odds) and the last time a Heisman winning QB was not picked in the first round was 2006...Troy Smith.
What did draft gurus say about Cade Klubnik, Garrett Nussmeier during preseason?
Entering the season, Nussmeier (6-foot-1, 205 pounds) and Klubnik (6-foot-2, 210 pounds) were considered potential first-round picks who could pilot their teams to the College Football Playoff. With both senior QBs having underwhelming seasons, don't expect either to go that high in the 2026 draft, scheduled April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.
