I remember Houston Nutt of all coaches beating Bama.

That's not at all what this is about but if you think what he just did is repeatable, you are delusional.

Literally every coach loses their edge at some point, what makes bama fans so sure that it can't happen to Saban in the next 5 years? Especially when it's already transpiring as we speak. Seriously comical

We will look back in 5 years and realize that NIL and the prevalence of the transfer portal made Saban quit.

He had a good run but it's impossible to bury a stockpile of 5 stars on the bench for 3-4 years anymore.

It’s over

One of the dumbest posts I have seen on here and that is saying something

Bama fans who disagree, ask yourselves what you guys are going to ask for and require after he goes 8-4 back to back and then when you inevitably realize it means he steps down, who is the replacement? And then how do you solve the problem that Saban won't be able to, which is being a mediocre public school without a massive(top 25) donor base to dominate the NIL market?

That was dumb fools gold.
NIl is actually a real problem though. Bama can't just all of a sudden be rich

I also remember that being the last time Arkansas beat Alabama

You can't learn all that in 6-9 months.

This an inherent problem with the portal, and it’s going to have a trickle down effect to college football as a whole and the NFL. Offenses are going to have to be simplified and players won’t be as prepared when they’re done.

It is a game changer and it is why so many teams wanted NIL. It levels the playing field and it makes it very difficult for the big boys to horde all these players each year.

BOBs offense

SEC

Pass - 4

Keep blaming the coordinators and thinking it’s an easy fix.

The decline is gonna be a long bumpy road for you

This. BOB's critics are the equivalent of a spoiled brat.

Yes but the comment was said that Bama has always dominated Arkansas and that isn't true.

Only took Saban pulling strings to change the rules, to make that problem go away.

Sure it is … it’s a problem for all coaches going forward . Prolly won’t see another 15 year run like we have been on ever again.. and that’s ok too. If there are coaches who will successfully navigate the new scene ( and there will be) I would just as soon depend on Saban to work through it as any other , including man tits

We have the 3rd richest football program in America. Lol
Plus, our boosters care about football. I get why you don’t understand. The Waltons don’t care about football anymore than Phil Knight does. The richest donor at almost every other SEC school cares more about football than anything else they give money to.

You don’t have to suddenly be rich when you already are.

You do realize what we pay our coach right?

And what string is that?
Saban swapped his offense to a HUNH and did it 10 times better than Gus. No rules were changed.
He’ll do the same with NIL.

I find it funny that you think that is equivalent to having the 3rd largest donor support when it comes to NIL, especially after he starts slipping with the results.

Paying your 70 year old coach as much as you possibly can when he is already in decline, is and will be part of the problem

We had that high of support with Shula as our coach. What makes you think it’ll stop if Saban declines or when he’s replaced? Our boosters care about football.
