Two things I’m certain of: Saban will master the portal like he has with all the other rule changes and he will also continue getting the best recruits (looks like he has the #1 class as we speak )

He just needs to correct mistakes made with the coordinators

The NIL hurt him more. Before he was the only one allowed to pay players and now even with Bama's money he gets beat out by Jimbo and A&M money.

His lies might convince a player to come there but now when they see he lied they can jump ship and the talent spreads out. He might get some talent in the portal but he can keep that many top players happy and has to actually outcoach people to win.
