Prayers to their family and friends. Prayers to the team because that's gonna be rough for those young players.

Since it was 2:45 AM, maybe she just fell asleep while driving. Don't hijack this thread.

Not hijacking shite. If you aren’t adult enough to handle a discussion about the possible/likely reasons, maybe take a break from the internet. Driving while fatigued is just as irresponsible as driving drunk when you’re transporting others. 6K fatal accidents a year attributed to driving while fatigued. 72K accidents in general for that reason.

Most fatal car accidents on Sundays happen between Midnight to 2:59 a.m.

It’s not rocket science. Like I said. There should be greater respect for the machines we operate at speed, in the late hours of the day.

I hope you all put in as much angsty derision about my “callous” comments as you do teaching your kids safe driving habits.

Car wrecks are so tragic. I genuinely feel so sorry the families and friends.
Nothing is guaranteed. The second guessing doesn't help.
Prayers to all...

We all know this. You're not telling us anything new. Most of us just want to give them the benefit of the doubt until further details are released. Your comments are unwarranted at this time.

Looking at the street view of the area.
It's a 4 lane road with a center turn lane. Fairly benign road. Perhaps a deer ran across the road and she swerved to miss it?
Maybe an oncoming car veered into her lane and she swerved to avoid a head on collision??

Only because assholes like you want it to be true.

Seriously, people need to just stop speculating. It will come out if so but right now, just not the time to trash these people.

No one here is condoning drunken or fatigued driving. Everyone but you just seems to be adult enough to show compassion for the two deceased and their families.

There will be plenty of time for litigating the reasons why this happened. That time is not right now.

And even if that’s the case it doesn’t make it any less sad or tragic. Sending love and light to the UGA program and family.

I don't care if she was doing blow off of the steering wheel. Right now what a normal person doesn't do is put on their judge's robe and start giving out lessons like an arrogant jerk.

Instead you should feel awful for those kids and their families. That's what you should do when it it less than 10 hours after the tragedy.

Instead your natural response is to start preaching your sermon to a bunch of adults that already know that. You are an a-hole, you may think you are not, but you are.

2:45am. Single car crash. Older female staffer. Younger player. Sounds like partying, booze, and potentially other extracurriculars leading to yet another easily avoidable tragedy.

That’s possibly but not guaranteed. Could have been a deer jumped in front of them And swerved. Could have been changing the radio and didn’t see a turn. Could have been just tired coming back from an event and couldn’t focus. Regardless, it’s a terrible tragedy and doesn’t really matter how it happened.

Deer is highly likely right now. They’re in rut and I’ve seen dozens on the side of the road dead lately
