Also,

Bert
Baseball can't even make it out of its own regionals 2 years in a row.
Football just an annual embarrassment with Chaggy and Titts.
Basketball last year with all of the drama.
Hell, even women's BB can't even have a scrimmage. 2/3 of the roster transferred out. Lol

Falcons are about 8 spots too low.

Anyone with a championship should not be higher.

Big game boomer is so fricking bad.

He has the Arizona Coyotes on there which aren't even a team anymore. He might as well have included the Expos or the Pottsville Maroons. And the Kranken have been an NHL team for about 6 minutes.

Anyone who shares Big Game Boomer stuff should have change their avatar to a Dunce hat.

1965 Arkansas 22 game losing streak snapped by LSU in the Cotton Bowl.

1969 Texas game.

1971 Liberty Bowl. Arkansas kicked a FG that gave them the lead against Tennessee. However a holding call against Arkansas player Bobby Nichols wiped out the FG. Bobby Nichols was interviewed after the game and said a Tennessee player held him, threw him to the ground. Also Arkansas recovered a fumble but the head referee from Tennessee gave the ball to Tennessee. This prompted the NCAA to make changes by having referees from different conferences.

1977 Texas game. Arkansas QB Ron Calcagni facemask was pulled but not called which forced them to a FG in a 14-9 loss.

1980 Sugar Bowl. 24-9 loss to Alabama.

1982 SMU game. A late phantom passing interference call against Arkansas led to a late fourth quarter tie that clinched the SWC title for SMU. That call was so awful that the head referee was fired after the season and the NCAA changed the rules from a spot foul to a 15 yard penalty.

1982 33-7 loss to Texas.

1984 Liberty Bowl. 21-15 loss to Auburn and Bo Jackson.

1985 15-13 loss to Texas.

1987 Orange Bowl. 42-8 loss to Oklahoma.

1987 51-7 loss to Miami.

1987 16-14 loss to Texas.

1988 Steve Atwater dropped interception against Miami. Miami kicks a FG for the 18-16 win.

1989 24-20 loss to Texas.

1989 Cotton. Arkansas lost 17-3 to Troy Aikman and UCLA.

1990 Cotton Bowl. Arkansas turns the ball over five times in a 31-27 loss to Tennessee.

1992 Citadel game and the Jack Crowe firing a few days after.

Multiple losses to SMU and Memphis in the 90s.

1998 Stoernover.

2000 A 63-20 loss to Tennessee.

2000 31-14 Las Vegas Bowl loss to UNLV.

2002 29-14 loss to Minnesota in the Music City Bowl.

The entire 2003 football season.

Nolan Richardson meltdown on TV. Fired and sued the university.

Stan Health.

2002 Arkansas vs. Alabama game. Arkansas lost 30-12.

2004 Texas game.

2005 70-17 USC game.

2005 Vandy game.

2006 season and Houston Nutt.

2006 50-14 USC game.

2006 LSU game and Trindon Holiday, Casey Dick.

2006 SEC championship Reggie Fish muffed punt.

Darren McFadden finished second in the Heisman.

2007 season and Houston Nutt.

2007 Alabama game.

2007 Auburn game. Auburn wins by not scoring a TD.

Darren McFadden finished second in the Heisman again.

Dana Altman leaving after 24 hours.

John Pelphrey.

2009 Florida game.

2009 LSU game.

2010 Alabama game. Arkansas roars to a double digit lead at the half. Bama takes the lead in the fourth quarter and clinched the win on a Ryan Mallett interception.

2010 Sugar Bowl Arkansas vs. Ohio State. OSU had a commanding lead at the half. Arkansas got back into the game. However a failed scope and score, a Ryan Mallett interception ended any chance of victory.

2010 Auburn game.

Mike Anderson.

2017 Arkansas vs. North Carolina in the second round. Arkansas had the lead with less than five minutes left but lost 72-65.

Petrino motorcycle crash.

John L. Smith.

2012 ULM game.

Bert.

2014 Alabama game.

2015 Toledo game.

2015 Miss State game.

Chad Morris.

2018 Colorado State and North Texas games.

2019 San Jose State and Western Kentucky games.

Sam Pittman.

2018 CWS foul ball fail.

2020 Auburn game and the intentional grounding call controversy.

2021 NCST.

Football awful again.

Basketball season a disaster.

2023 top 5 seed bounced from the regional.

2024 top 5 seed again bounced from the regional.

I tip my cap to Big Game Boomer. He apparently makes a living by arbitrarily making up rankings and lists. There appears to be no method or rationale to it. I can’t help but think he isn’t trolling people much of the time. Yet people can’t seem to get enough of it.

We’ve had more than our share of misfortune without a doubt, but the fact we were ever competitive enough with our little program to be in such situations is remarkable. Many comparable programs in the country would trade with us in a heartbeat.

I’m proud of our program. Nothing to be miserable about, imo.

The Pirates being at #18 is laughable. I have family in Pittsburgh and go there often, it cannot be understated how the last several owners have destroyed that once proud franchise.

He didn’t even mention the two things that came to my head first, one of which involves UNC. The second round of the 2017 NCAAT.

Arkansas was poised to end a 21 year Sweet 16 drought in dramatic fashion by beating eventual national champion North Carolina and completely melted the game away in the closing minutes. I think the last piece of my soul died that day.

Our women’s programs are completely fraudulent across the board. It’s statistically improbable how much they choke.

Think the Dallas Cowboys should be on that list. Personally have been miserable for about 28 years with one more year ahead
