Point taken Summer.
Those still aren’t names that would roll off the top of your head if you weren’t a Bama fan.

I bet you could come up with a more impressive list of LSU names off of the top of your head.
That’s all I’m saying.

I mean, how many LSU names would if you weren't a LSU or a serious NBA fan?

Shaq and Pistol Pete, probably. Maybe Bob Petit, but probably not with most people considering his age and time of play. Certainly not Chris Jackson/Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf.

You don't remember Danny Hester who played for the Kentucky Colonels of the ABA in 1971?

Nice - watching those guys was one of my favorite things to do as a kid. I loved those teams and loved college baseball as a 12-15 year old. Me and my buddies laying around watching every pitch of the College World Series in-between practices and games was one of the highlights of my summer.

Hold up Hoss, LSU won the national playoff game sponsored by the American Legion, back in 1935...not exactly the NCAA (or even the NIT), but it was all that there was back then.

Alabama's won 108 and lost 71 against LSU. (.603 winning %)....who you gonna say is the better all-time program?

In football, LSU has the following all-time records vs these "Blueblood" teams:

USCw 1-1-0
Ohio St 1-1-1 (beat them for a Natty)
Oklahoma 1-1-0 (beat them for a Natty)

By your logic, that makes us as good as they are all-time. I would like to be able to say that myself, but common sense says those teams have won more games that mattered, and they are clearly better teams than we are historically.

Does that clear up the reality of this basketball post as concerns LSU and Bama for you?

I know you're not comparing a 2 game "history" against a 179 game one...you're too smart for me to believe you'd be that simple.

One of these is not like the others. I wonder if you can guess which one.

Be careful. Six of those midgets have kicked y'all's arse this year and one of them's done it twice.

Bama must never play a tough OOC. Bc everytime they even make the NCAAT, it is about their best team in history.

big 12 win is still a win I guess

SWC, actually.

And the Big12 is always a hell of a lot better, top to bottom, than the SEC is.

You can't (don't want to) see past your nose. "Winningest" means all-time wins. And just like with Florida, Alabama has beaten LSU HEADUP, over 60% of the time for like 179 games or 102 years....and you don't like it because we've done about the same to Florida...it's ok, I understand
Yall also lead lsu in the all time series for baseball

You want to go ahead and claim you have a better baseball program too?

Your current argument is pretty ignorant.

LSU beat Arkansas twice this season, but LSU would give those two wins up this season to be in the post season position Arkansas is currently in.

Mentioning something about who Kentucky has lost to this season is just rather....dumb honestly.

You're bent out of shape over posters thinking that LSU is a better overall basketball program than Alabama, we get it. You cannot ignore the fact that LSU has been to multiple Final Fours in their history.

Basketball programs aren't just measured on wins, they're measured on post season success over the course of their history.

Coach, I agree with what you’re saying. The stats are undeniable.
I just think on a national level and maybe even in the SEC LSU appears to have a more predominant BB program....accomplishments, players, notoriety.
I love you too! :)
