Yall also lead lsu in the all time series for baseball
You want to go ahead and claim you have a better baseball program too?

Yes because kids on the streets are modeling their games off of Derrick fricking McKey and JaMychal Green. Give me a break.

You can't have it both ways. You Bama fans are all about titles in football but ignore the fact that LSU has won more in basketball.

Like somebody else said, "There's Alabama, then there's everybody else" when it comes to SEC football.

Im sorry about 1997 We 2011'd yall that year
Yea, 1997 and 1999 were rough. I actually think 1999 was rougher because it was the 2nd time around. Both sucked though, especially as a kid/teenage dude who cared way way too much.
Hell, 2002 we lost to Florida Atlantic when we were the #3 overall seed. Then, when I was in college the 2006 team was loaded and we lost to UNC in the Super Regionals. Alex Avila, Wade LeBlanc, Tommy Hunter, David Robertson were all on that team and were multiple year MLB players, with Avila and Robertson being all-stars. That team had 5 MLB players and 9 guys who made it to at least AAA.
Sigh - Alabama baseball.

Again, LSU has a better basketball program, I'm not arguing that at all.
But this premise that Alabama folks act like titles only matter in football and wins don't isn't exactly a correct premise. We also own the head to head against everyone in the SEC in football. We aren't choosing between the 2 there. We both own the most titles and the head to heads with everyone in the league and neither category is close.

I'm sorry, which LSU players are kids on the street modeling their game after? A lot of lil Stromile Swifts out there? Collin Temple IIIs? Big Babys?
Let's not oversell this LSU thing. You guys have a better history than Alabama, you went to Final 4s and you have Shaq. Don't try and act like LSU has some basket full of highly marketed NBA stars compared to everyone else.

Pistol Pete Maravich
Pistol Pete is awesome, but Pistol Pete is a guy my dad modeled his game after. Kids in 2017 are not (though it is 100% accurate that they are modeling their games off guys whose tricks and moves are out of the Pistol Pete book).
However, Pistol Pete and Shaq are an incredible 1-2 punch.......it's just disingenuous to act like LSU has this laundry list of great NBA stars that are universally beloved and modeled after.
That's like me saying kids model themselves after Joe Namath. Silly.

3 more conference championships
Regular season perhaps, but Alabama has more SEC tournament championships. In fact, if wikipedia is correct, LSU has only 1 tournament title, in 1980.
