I think your expectations of consistency from a Leach team are a little overly rose colored.

You can talk about the close games he won, and you can talk about the close games he lost. But that's Leach every year. You take the big surprise upsets with the WTF losses, because the only consistency you get with Leach is that you'll get 2 or 3 of each every year.

Nah. My thoughts are that Leach has never had the amount of talent he has currently.

There has always been the question of how he would do with SEC talent.

In fact, I don't know of another time in the history of MSU that they have had this much talent at 1 time on a team.

Ms St fans can correct me if I am wrong.

What you are trying to sell is that a team full of 2 stars and 3 stars should consistently beat teams of 4 and 5 stars. That's never going to happen.

Well we are going to see aren't we.

you ask a question... several answered, you argued your point...

and continued arguing .. and continued... and ....

West... Bama, TAMU, AR

East... GA, KY, USC

why you ask? AR replaced our best WR with several really good WR's. Nobody as talented as him, but the quantity will outdo the quality. Our QB is legit and came on strong at the end of the season. Our TE group will be improved and Odom/Briles are in their 3rd season together keeping the team mostly intact.

TAMU- They must prove something this year with all of the noise. Jimbo will have a very warm seat if AR beats them again this season after all of the bravado and recruiting. Defense will be better with the new DC and coaches. Talent isn't a problem

Bama... Duh!

GA.. about to be a problem every season period.
KY, because Stoops is a real coach, their D will improve some and the offense will be better overall with more talent and conditioning.
USC.. The dude can just coach, and has more to work with. He will beat Mizzou, Vandy, and maybe even Tenner.

East-I have no idea but USC could upset a few and UK I assume will in the mix as well. Outside of UGA anyone could finish 2nd or 3rd

West- UA and after that I could easily see Ole Miss and Arkansas be 2nd or 3rd.

We'll beat the bottom half of the West teams. MSU is in that group.

1- Bama. Will have the nastiest defense in the nation and the offense returns enough.

2- Ole Miss/Tamu. If Lane can get the portal team on the same page, they will be good. TAMU has the talent, but to be honest, coaching is not great. Fisher hasn't been in a long time. However, talent can over come those flaws.

3- Ms St. Returns 17 starters from a team that only won 7. But that's not the full story. 3 of their losses were 3 points or less. They added 2 decent kickers and plug some holes they had via the portal.

The West finishes: 1)Bama, 3)MSU, 2)TAMU/Olemiss (who ever wins their game

Did I get this right?

Meanwhile UK will finish 2nd in the East yet again, and we'll point this out kustlike we did last offseason, and the offseason before that and so on. And we'll keep hearing about Tennessee and Florida.

Dumb.

Which means if they finish 2nd in the east this year, it will in fact be “again”

Dunno.... seems like this opinion should wait until he at least coaches some UF games. It's doubtful, but what if he can't get "alot out of his players" at UF, like he did all ULL?

You should worry about how LSU going to deal with Kelly when he doesn't get a championship at LSU within 4 years.

What? He is the expert on MSU and Leach. Leach is due to go 8-4 or 9-3.

You're a Mizzou fan... how many years are you gonna deal with not winning a championship? I've had the pleasure of watching 3 of LSU's National Championships... what have you seen from Mizzou?

You should have just listed Bama, A&M, and Ole Miss in the West. Leach doesn't contend for titles.
Please tell us the last SEC West title Jimbo won. Lol
