In order.

EAST: Over all, the East will be down this year.

1- UGA. No doubt they lost a lot on the defense and that amount never translates into good news. But It's Georgia. They recruit well and have plenty of man power.

2- UT. They will make a game out of anybody they play and be in it. The main question is can their defense help out.

3- UF. I like their new coach and he gets alot out of the players.

I believe the east will finish in that order.

WEST: A shift in the top 3 this year.

1- Bama. Will have the nastiest defense in the nation and the offense returns enough.

2- Ole Miss/Tamu. If Lane can get the portal team on the same page, they will be good. TAMU has the talent, but to be honest, coaching is not great. Fisher hasn't been in a long time. However, talent can over come those flaws.

3- Ms St. Returns 17 starters from a team that only won 7. But that's not the full story. 3 of their losses were 3 points or less. They added 2 decent kickers and plug some holes they had via the portal.

The West finishes: Bama, MSU, TAMU/Olemiss (who ever wins their game

You should have just listed Bama, A&M, and Ole Miss in the West. Leach doesn't contend for titles. He'll have 2 unexpected upsets, and 3 wtf losses like he does every year.

One loss will be to Ole Miss. Leach hardly ever wins on Thanksgiving weekend.

Dunno.... seems like this opinion should wait until he at least coaches some UF games. It's doubtful, but what if he can't get "alot out of his players" at UF, like he did all ULL?

Listing 4 of the "most dangerous teams in the West" and leaving out Arkansas is questionable at best.

to finish 2nd, state college will have to beat both Ole Miss and A&M on the road. Leaving College Station with a victory is not a very big deal for the veteran squad Leach will field rhis season, and I expect thats exactly what state will do. They will NOT, however, beat Ole Miss in Oxford.
1- Alabama 7-1
2- Ole Miss 6-2
3- state college/starksville 6-2
4 Arkansas 5-3

They lost too much in the most needed areas. This is a team who barely beat Ms ST (who returns 17).

I don't see them beating Ms St.

By that same token, State barely beat a 3-9 Louisiana Tech squad.

Arkansas will have a better season than State.

What does that have to do with where either of those teams will finish next year?

UF is rebuilding under a first year coach.

Both had first year coaches in 2018.

And is AR15, in a new system after we saw how productive he was last year supposed to come in and tear it up?

Florida won't be down long at all if Napier is worth a frick. But next year is going to be hard for them.
