How is UF even in this discussion. New coach, not great players. No shot they fit here. UK should be there

I suspect building an entire team out of the portal and replacing your entire coaching staff isn’t going to work out well.

I’d be thrilled with 6-2 considering we play Bama and Georgia this year

Seeing as how I didn’t consider that, I’ll change that to 5-3..oh wait, make it 4-4 for state college

UGA and Bama are still the elite in the SEC.

The rest of teams have question marks they may or may not over come.

Teams I would watch out for:
UK, UTenn, and LSU.

I love Ole Miss, but we have to replace Matt Corral and I lived with life after ELI. I'll believe it when I see it.

TAMU will find a way to lose 4 games again and they'll probably cancel 2 or 3 being the pussies they are.

I'm surprised Arkansas isn't getting more love. They could be the dark horse this year.

Miss State will win a game or two they shouldn't, but you can count on Leach to shite the bed against 2 or 3 teams they should destroy.

USCe is interesting. If Rattler plays like his hype, they will certainly create headaches.

UF doesn't exactly have a bare cupboard, but UGA, UK and UTenn have a leg up...

Auburn is still Auburn. Be interesting to see if TAMU's best ex QB can do a little better than Bo Nix.

Don't count out Mizzou and Drinkwitz. They'll be thorny for sure.

Vandy.

UF is rebuilding under a first year coach.

Kentucky's wins over Florida

2021 - 3rd year coach
2018 - 1st Year Coach
1986 - 3rd year coach
1979 - 1st year coach
1977 - 8th year coach - Dickey
1976 - 7th year coach - Dickey
1974 - 5th year coach - Dickey

So, the pattern for Kentucky wins over Florida for the last 50 years are either 1st year coaches, 3rd year coaches...or Doug Dickey.

I'm more concerned about Arkansas than Ole Miss, aTm, or MSU.

This, from a member of a fan base that referred to Ole Miss as TSUN for over a decade…

Seriously? 2018 wasn't THAT long ago.

I'm going by star power. I went to check, and It's true. MS ST has more talent (as rated by 247) than ever before.

They added via transfer seven 4 stars that will be on the field this season. That's not counting what they already had.

But does that translate into winning those 3 point losses in 2022? If it does... they are a 10 win team.

They showed a lot of improvement last season and have good players returning. They're probably the second best coached team in the West as well.

I don't think Ole Miss has enough to seriously compete, and as good as Lane Kiffin is at times he's equally bad at others.

On aTm, I don't think Jimbo is a very good coach and they're overrated going into the season. They went 8-4feit last season and those freshman won't change that much because they're freshman. Plus, they have to have to handle all the accusations and the eyes on them, and Jimbo has already shown he's incapable of doing that.

Until MSU and the Pirate show some consistency I won't be taking them too serious.

That's because of key losses. Your top TE, your top 2 WRs, a key Rb, top pass rusher as well as a starting DT, 2 starting LBs (which were 2 of the top 3 in tackles) as well as the back up, 3 starters in the secondary.
