It would be unfair if the B1G played 9 league games while the SEC played 8 plus the usual 4 G5 teams. That might allow the CFP committee to overestimate the strength of SEC teams.

Games vs G5 schools are boring and hurt your overall value.

Michigan last year played 9 BIG games + 3 OOC from G5. Pretty much all SEC teams played in addition to 8 SEC games, 1 from another P5 league. Florida last year played 2 from the P5 (Utah and FSU). LSU in 2024 will play 8 SEC games + 2 P5 (USC and UCLA).

Not really. It could hurt some teams but give other teams more opportunities. It would give some teams a shot in the arm.

The BiG had three interesting teams and PSUvsOSUvMichigan round robin was the only thing waf. Even so, after Penn State let OSU choke them out, nobody cared about them either.

I’m done with my BiG bashing, and idgaf if we go to 9 games

Why is Ohio State beating up on Penn State bad when Alabama beat up the SEC?

Now you can add Oregon and USC if Riley can ever figure things out. Wisconsin's future looks bright too.

But but but the B1G is no good.

So which is it? Are USC and UCLA legit or cupcakes?

How is this dude still here? There's plenty of national fbook groups full of mongoloids like you to post in. You'd do so much better there.

clearly losing their bowl game to a first time starting QB who threw for close to 400 and led a late game 98 yard game winning drive - has positioned Wisconsin well for 2024 and beyond -

The best things to happen to your second-rate school are owed to Ohio.

It is a known fact that a first-year coach never builds a winning program if he loses his first bowl game.

Congrats on beating a 7-6 team in the Australia Bowl. That's a program defining win for y'all.

Thanks for demonstrating my point so perfectly.

The fact remains that Big Ten football is shite. Arkansas would be the 3rd or 4th best team in your conference.

And that is aging something.

SEC>>>B1G

Let’s look at 2024 LSU vs 2024 OSU…

8 SEC + 2 B1G + 2 G5 >>>> 9 B1G + 3 G5
