Idiotic post, there is no NIL without the fans and viewership
There aren't even scholarships without fans...
In fact there probably aren't even college sports without fans...
There would just be intramurals.

Alright cuck. These “students” exist because of the fans.

Good lord. One of your worst takes and that is saying something… trust me.
Yikes.
Yikes.

Students? Lmao. They’re the furthest thing from students now. Hired guns. Just another pro league.
Lol, Tennessee's only national championship in the last 70 years was fueled by retarded gangbanger partial qualifiers. It got so bad that Spurrier made jokes about it on the Gator Club circuit.

I don’t think you’re Sneezy at all, you’re Grumpy.

It exists to provide opportunities for student athletes.
If it weren’t for fans they would be playing on the rec fields for zero money in front of tens of people.

So “whats good for fans” no one gives a shite about.
It always will be about the student. Always.
So deal with it. Because the students are way better off. And what fans think don’t mean a damn thing.
Cool. Let's dismantle all of the stadiums and see what happens.
Congrats on having a truly idiotic take.

No, the Colleges poured in monies for eons, then used that money they started getting in TV Revenue in the 1980s to build the stadiums and put forth other college entities et al.
The mistake was not just putting Texas AM on probation for cheating when Jumbo paid all those players to sign a few years back instead of paying players.
I hope they return to the old ways, If not I will not watch, haven't watched since 2019.

Paying $2-3 Million/year for a kid with potential but little else, may not be long on this Earth. I can see a real shift towards programs turning more towards pulling kids from G5 and FCS with a couple of years of resume. Jackson Arnold is a prime example of throwing good money after a bad product. He took money from OK and AU and now at UNLV. Cam Coleman and Ryan Williams may very well turn out to be all everything recievers one day, but to date, the ROI is not very good.
Students? Lmao. They’re the furthest thing from students now. Hired guns. Just another pro league.

Interesting.
One small counter-consideration:
Without “fans”, the game wouldn’t matter. At all.
Sure, there might be some athletic fellas getting together once in awhile and playing a pick-up game in a park somewhere with a few scattered friends watching on.
But there wouldn’t be any importance and none of the “opportunities” for the student athletes without the people who are interested enough to shell out big money and spend the time so they can watch it. Opportunities for what? An NFL without “fans”?
You think any of this “big time college football” would continue to exist on its own in a void ?….without fans?

Nope, the game exists because of the fans.
What do you think generates all that money? That money starts with fans. TV contracts, merchandise, tickets, NIL.. Let the money dry up and see where the sport stands. It'll be the WNBA in no time.

I’m sure they’re worried about their next grade in remedial English.
