I think it would be a match made in heaven.

I'm not sure he could do the booster thing or rub elbows correctly with the powers that be at LSU, he literally gives zero fricks and tells it like it is.

I think it would be good for the conference.

Thoughts?

He would never go to a big school. I don't know why people keep bringing him up for any big time job. He hates playing the game.

If LSU is going that route I'd rather Frank Wilson or PJ Fleck. At least they're likeable.

He's won big at some really difficult jobs. He had Texas Tech in the top 5...

He would be an upgrade in sec coaching talent but I seriously doubt he's leaving Wazzou

True, I'm not sure we as a program could handle another caricature on the sidelines.

I know its taken him a while, but to get Wazzou semi rolling is a massive feat.

I'm not sure his O would work in the SEC. UK ran a form of it under Mumme.

ETA Leach may have been the OC at that time.

His Woodstock comment was so random, but funny. He gives zero fricks and it left the reporter puzzled, I would enjoy him just for the entertainment.

If you were going to get him, last year would have been the time. True he does not like playing the "games" , but then neither did Saban.

He's the one person who can mentally match Saban overall and the bonus is, Saban has never had to deal with him before on any level

there was a time where the conventional wisdom was a job like LSU was too big for Mike Leach, and I agreed with that sentiment.

Now? any sort of semblance of competence would be welcomed

Did Craig James kill any hookers at LSU? (allegedly)

BS. He lobbied and interviewed for the Miami job
In '06 and '10

Of course he'd want a big time job

Saban and Leach going at it in the same conference is must watch theater.

I don’t see him ever fielding a champion caliber defense, and I don’t see him being a great recruiter, so I don’t see it working out.
