Now this even I have to admit is true. "Deserving" maybe not, but beating 2-3 straight undefeated teams AFTER the SEC schedule means they definitely earned it.

That was one of the weaker teams of the Saban era and not undefeated. Oregon was also not undefeated. Additionally, the team Ohio State defeated in the big 10 championship (Wisconsin maybe?) was not comparable to this year’s Georgia team. Alabama this season has a chance to blow that run away.
Coincidentally, Alabama, with one loss, was ranked ahead of undefeated FSU in the final CFP ranking that season, and no one batted an eye.

It's not like Colt twisted his ankle. Bama put him out. First time he'd been hit that hard all year.

Injuries are a part of the game. Sucks, but it's what happened. Also, I'd say Texas having the ball down 3 with 3 min to go is definitely "having a chance"
