Good point. I thought I was mistaken once, but I was wrong :rotflmao:

Sankey in bed with the SEC is GOOD for the SEC, people here are in denial.

The SEC is getting 4, maybe 5 in to the invitational. Huge ratio compared to other conferences.

So FSU is headed to the Bahamas Bowl, or the Sun Bowl? :nana:

Tennessee has an argument? How?

They got severely beaten in the playoff last year, and haven't really beat anybody this year.

Lol, you know that certain teams get ranked in order to create a scenario/argument you are presenting, don't fall for it.

Beating a "ranked" team that's #21, 24 or even 17 isn't exactly a hill to die on. They prop up the SEC to make it look better all the time, and have been doing it for years.

Many here have advocated for no rankings at all until early October, when things are a bit clearer.
When was the last time an SEC team other than Texas played a road game at a Big 10 school?
Don't drink the Kool Aid.

Takes like these are why people can't stand the SEC.

Root for your team, not a conference. Is that really to hard to do?
Totally agree. A & M looks like the best team but might lose next week. Bama should be on the fringes of the playoff, outside looking in, but ESPN won't allow that to happen. Ole Miss & Georgia will get in for sure.
Do you realize tOSU has always had a top 5 enrollment in the USA?

That is a huge alumni base with many connections. Before NIL that was the case as well.

Schools like tOSU, & Alabama will rarely fall on hard times in football.
Read that again....you need to avoid Ole Miss & ND, but want to be national champs? Wow
Because Paul Finebaum said so? :nana:

No, I meant that Vandy is like Purdue, who you referenced as not being able to rise to the top of the conference. Who would have thought Vandy would ever find success in the SEC?

Vanderbilt rings a bell, no?

tOSU is awfully good but all it takes is a turnover or 2 to derail a season.

They remind me of Georgia a couple years ago. Definitely a cut above 99% of the country but still beatable.

re: AP Poll / 9 SEC in top 25

Lol, this kind of argument gets old real fast.

You know they jockey the rankings to actually help the SEC out don't you?

tOSU probably won't repeat, but you know they're one of the nation's elite programs, like Bama & Georgia, who also have cream puffs on the schedule every year.
Nope, UF has never travelled north of Kentucky for a football game. Wimps.
Correct.

Our enemies at tOSU vacated wins and had a post season ban for the heinous crime of selling their gold pants after a victory over scUM. The NCAA really dropped the ball here, cheating is ok by them.

Mercer or The Citadel. He wants to beat Bama
He looked like a middle school kid vs tOSU
No conference has ever owned CFB. This is a myth created by ESPN & talking heads like Paul Finebaum.

Individual teams, traditional powerhouse teams that play in a said conference have a chance at a Natty. That's what should be stated.

The whole "rooting for a conference" thing is stupid.
