This was Uconns 5th NC in the last 24 years and thats pretty amazing.
Then it occurred to me that Alabama football has won 6 NCs in the last 14 years.
So this Uconn bball win tonight really just shines a light on how dominant Alabama football has been.

The tourney is so different than CFB. Heck UK has one on title since 99… UConn has won 5. Doesn’t mean UConn is a better program. NCAA tourney is odds and a crapshoot

I think it’s a testament to the lack of parity in college football. It’s been a small few teams who have dominated football for many years, heck, next year’s champ will be one of 3 or 4 teams almost guaranteed. Pretty boring.
At least in basketball there’s a better chance to advance these days which is a good thing, baseball as well.
Other than the regular season a lot of folks are losing interest in football.
