You just started a thread about a random A&M poster who was discussing A&M on some other website after searching the internet for any A&M posters who were saying things about A&M so you could bring that A&M snippet here to the rant and start a thread about A&M.

Coach's salary is a different issue than coach keeping his job. The fact that many of you (mostly nutria corndogs) do not recognize the distinction indicates the simpleton midset with which we are dealing.
Athletic departments exist to generate attention to the university and money to the athletic department itself. A coach who has winning seasons and generates fan interest is worth more money. When he starts to lose fan interest through losing seasons and/or lack of interesting product on the field, it's time to fire him.
So, do we overpay Sumlin? No. (See money going in)
Will Sumlin get fired for turning in a zero-win season. Probably
Will he get fired if fan interest starts to seriously decline? Immediately.
Now, y'all can go back to mixing arguments and your general bullshittery.

If there was a way to prove it, I would be willing to bet that he is a t-shirt fan that jumped on the bandwagon in 2012 after seeing JFF play.
I think everyone with half a brain understands that winning 11 games get a team better ratings (see A&M 2012).
It is also understood that it doesn't really matter how big a stadium you have, how much tradition you have or how many tshirts you sell; no one wants to see shitty football (see tu, Tennessee and Michigan 2014)
