It is time for Harsin and Auburn to part ways. This is just the smoke. Y’all want to see just how bad it will be when the flames break through?

In all honesty, how many men over 40 can relate to inner city black kids right now? Or almost any of today’s youth? Harsin isn’t doing anything Saban didn’t do in the 2000’s… it’s just a piling on in a social media age where the players have free reign to say what they want with impunity, leave when they want, and make demands on everything in a football program. The adults in the room should probably take all of this with a grain of salt.

Social media has been nothing but a curse for this nation

If a fraction of that is true how did the AD not due his due diligence?? Surely some of this would have come to light if he had done his due diligence before the hire.

If you can't relate to young men in your program how in the heck can you be their leader and coach?

Do you think Woody Hayes related to the hippy kids he coached?

Do you really think Saban relates to a kid these days?

I mean, really relate.

Only this generation seems to believe that people two or more generations older have to relate.

It’s an absolute lack of understanding or respect for authority and leadership.

You can be lead by anyone, of any age, of any persuasion, if you aren’t hell bent on your own wants and needs. This is counterintuitive to being on a team with a goal.

But that’s out the window these days, now isn’t it?

The decision on Harsin’s future is expected to come within days from university leadership, not athletic leadership, sources have told ESPN. When athletic director Allen Greene hired Harsin, the move was viewed as a win for the athletic department fending off board and booster influence.

Obviously Greene was trying to take control of the athletic department from the boosters. The Auburn boosters have run the program since Shug Jordan retired and unless the AD and HC take direction from them, this is what happens.
