I hope not. That would make me jealous.

ETA: Story time! When I was in my early 20's a guy got angry that my boss wouldn't give him credit. He told me to tell my boss to go frick himself. So I told him. My boss said, "Tell him I don't think I will, but make sure he knows I could if I wanted to."

Most epic response I have ever heard.

Speaking of fricking and sucking yourself, how about this weather?

Is it snowing where you live?

It's snowing here.

Sleeting here. It is like driving/walking on marbles.

Looks like snow, but it is a lie.

Good ole sleet.

I believe today's HIGH temp was 7. Dry powder. Been sweeping it off my porches and sidewalk.

I'm in Oxford. Won't get snow until tomorrow, maybe. I'm just glad we avoided any freezing rain.

The weather forecast is never accurate in E. TN. That is the only thing that's ever been accurate about our weather.

There's a similar phenomenon for NW Arkansas. The Ozarks are the first significant uplift that airmasses encounter sweeping across the Great Plains. Disrupts rain and snow (shallow cold air can't get "over the hump"), and thankfully, those big arse Oklahoma tornadoes always peter out, too.

I used to think the same thing about Red Mountain and Alabama tornadoes.. Until one rolled right over it and fricked up a neighborhood in Clay, jumped Deerfoot Parkway, took part of our roof off, and proceeded to meatgrind the next neighborhood over.

This is the 1st place I’ve ever lived with 4 real seasons. I’m use to either tropical Asian wet and dry seasons or Georgia with its hot and humid and less hot but still humid or leaving before seasons change. But now we have 4 fairly stable seasons and as much as I bitch about the day to day stuff being wrong it’s still better overall than the alternative.
