Oh I know mountains can't prevent tornadoes. I'm just saying the giant F5s they have a couple hundred miles west always disintegrate when they reach the edge of the escarpment. It isn't a "mountain ridge" they encounter here as much as a plateau and a wholesale change in elevation over a few dozen miles. It disrupts the whole front.

Yeah it still open. I grab the cream cheese with extra jalapeños and pepperoni. One of the best late night places around here.

What I always find ridiculous, but not surprising, is when the roads ice over, people get in their cars and pickup trucks and get out on the road. When it gets icey, forget it, I am not going anywhere.

Snow is snow, but ice will kill you quickly. The south looks like they are getting plenty of the black ice conditions. I hope everyone stays off the road if that's what the weather dials up for you.
