OM has higher avg player rating on On3 and 247. Lower avg transfer out rating than LSU and is ranked higher when you account for transfers in and out.

LSU literally took OM's coach. OM promotes the DC, and still appears to be in a better situation than LSU. Must be hard to deal with.

Curne was a true freshman, right? Townsend was a fairly young guy also.
Offensive linemen usually take time to develop. I wish we had held on to Townsend, but let's not act like Curne is a bust in his first year.

Chambliss didn't get to OM until last summer. Ole Miss, in general, didn't have a lot to do with his development.
Also, Joe Judge was in charge of handling the backup QBs. Kiffin and Charlie were grooming Austin Simmons to be the man.
