Yeah and Vandy has more money than all of us but they still suck at football. If nobody cares enough to pay players, having favorable laws is pretty useless.

Evan Stewart hasn’t committed yet. Although he will end up in the SEC one way or another so you’re partially right.

My bet is that stat is stupid and doesn't mean shite.

Laws that are most supportive to the college athletes? What the frick does that even mean, and how in the hell do you grade it? Are these laws that are giving them money?

Because I'll let you in on a secret - it's not a law that's giving Bryce Young 7 figures.

The top 4 minus Oregon don’t have a single sport they are good at or will be in the future.

When you have the worst athletic department in the SEC and at the bottom 3 of all sports in this conference I guess you need something to be happy for

It still boggles my mind - why States feel the need to pass a law making it "legal" for a college ball player to make money.

It was never not "legal". It was just an NCAA rule. The NCAA is not, get this, a legal jurisdiction.

At no point, if a college ball player walked into a car dealership and took cash to shake hands, was that young man ever subject to arrest. Might have had a case for discrimination, though. Especially if he showed how the scholarship kids on the band were playing side gigs for cash - which they were.

In doing so, most of these states, especially the big football crazed states like Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, etc, actually all hindered themselves more than helped themselves with these dumbass restrictions they put on NIL.

Make no mistake, though, this was not a mistake by the legislatures, it was somebody up high nudging them to protect the university corporate sponsorship $$ from going into the kids pockets.

At Arkansas for example.. Tyson and Walmart are both major corporate ad partners. But guess, according to the state's laws, which companies kids can't form an NIL deal with without consent from the university??

Yep...corporate partners....

So, that leaves them only able to get deals with sleazy local car dealerships and bbq restaurants, which don't exactly equal huge dollars.

Thats all you need to know about how much they really care about paying the kids versus protecting their own bank account.

Look at it buddy. I remember all you delusional Mizzou fans claiming 8-9 wins this year.

Harry is going backwards. Also, you aren’t better than us at anything right now. Not really even close at any sport right now

It will be ok little buddy
