Years where final AP ranking was equal or better than the Talent rankings for Texas - 2018 (both were 9th).
Only going back to 2015, since that is as far back as the talent rankings list goes. What it does show is that Texas has been a chronic underperformer with the talent they have had.

Texas was so thrilled for the 2018 Sugarbowl, they had gotten used to playing in the McDonald's Double Cheeseburger Toilet Bowl (if they were lucky enough to make a bowl). The game meant so much more to Texas than Georgia, wasn't that the game that brought Texas back to being a blue blood program? Hahaha not so fast! You Texas fans have to get rid of the losers mentality you have if you ever want to be competitive again.. You blamed Alabama's record on officials! If you are blaming refs when it doesn't even have to do with your team, I can't imagine the excuses you come up with for Horns. Maybe adding 8 five stars to the 2018 team would of helped you beat Maryland and West Virginia lol. You can't put 10-4 and national championship in the same sentence!

I am old, and I can tell you it is not just these two. It just that sites that depend on trolling allow them to fester and multiply. Clay Travis is not a dumb guy but he makes money by stirring the pot. I have hung out with Paaawl in person and he is a decent guy to be around and he knows how to have an intelligent conversation. His show is just the opposite because clickbaiting pays about 100 dollars to 1 dollar for real discussion.
I am old and have lived and worked in and around Texas most of that time. You have very good Texans just like you have very good folks from most states in the South but they get overshadowed by a majority who are "all hat, no cattle". For some reason Utx - austin and the o hi o state folks have a lock on assholes that it throws shade on the good fans out there.
One of my dearest friends - who passed just before c19 - was a native of austin and a really great guy. Educated, style, charm, and lots of good traits but he got out of Texas as soon as he could. While stereotypes are often unfair it is the reality that creates them in the first place. With the modern internet and how media makes money these days it will get worse before it gets better.
The answer would be the return of manners and humility but we live in a society now that puts no value there. sadly, that is not happening and were are becoming the "Decline of Rome" at a faster and faster pace.
Post well and hopefully you will not get lumped in with them but it still may now work.
