Random retards from the swamps psychoanalyzing Kiffin will never not be funny.

They don't like to be reminded that they were very similar programs prior to Saban showing up (a large portion of their fans have trouble remembering that).

All Labe does is try to get in the heads of people so why not try to get into his head a little bit? Truth is, Ole Miss, LSU, FL fans truly have no clue what this guy is gonna do. Only Lane does.

I would imagine that what is “the cowardly thing to do” is up to Lane.

Honestly, if he just chooses to stay at Little Ole Miss and not accept that challenge? Absolutely.

Ohhh, so now the narrative is that it’s harder to win at LSU than at “little Ole Miss”?

That’s a new one — hadn’t heard that angle before.

Lane is staying put. I kind of admire him for that.

However, I could really see him thriving in Florida.
Baton Rouge? not so much.

Does he actually have the balls to leave his little velvet ditch in Oxford to come and lead the Tigers?

If you refer to Oxford as a velvet ditch, please elaborate about baton rouge.

Kiffin is not a good fit for LSU. He will not embrace Louisiana culture the same way Ed O did because Ed O personified it. Kiffin creates his own culture of me-first cool and slick. He's a Lane hog.

Ed O has the Cajun grit built-in. He's the roux that makes the football dish in Baton Rouge. LSU must bring him back! The LSU sideline has not been the same without him. And neither has CFB. Time to forgive and forget -- and remember the glory of 2019.

I know this stuff as I lived in Houma for years and met many Ed O's during my time there, including Gov. Edwin Edwards. Now there was a colorful character just like Ed O. Bring him back!

LSU reeks of dysfunction, their fans can’t tell because they have become nose blind to it. They should be prepared to be turned down a time or two. Florida should probably brace themselves as well.

You can have the resources, money and prestige, but if word is out in the coaching community that your administration is a shite show….. Well, you end up with guys like Jeremy Pruitt.

Lane will probably flee to the stability of East Baton Rouge Parish at the end of the day. No University President. An AD whose hiring failures have led to the two largest coaching buyouts in college football history and a city that can't even make it's mind up what it's GD name is supposed to be. Is it French Cajun or Roman Catholic this week ?!!? Yep. The Murder Capital of Louisiana has it goin on! Sho nuff blee dat !!!

Some coaches might hesitate to join a program where the Athletic Director, who would usually be their new boss, is locked out of the hiring process.

"Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry just said at a press conference that LSU athletic director Scott Woodward will NOT be hiring LSU’s next football coach. It will be LSU’s Board of Supervisors."

It’s not like he won’t continue to be sought after by the top tier programs. If he continues to succeed at Ole Miss, the offers will continue as well.

I'll respect the shite out of Joey Freshwater if he stays. He can become a legend in Oxford. Or, just another guy at LSU or Florida.
