Georgia has played 2 hard games....piss poor OOC and 8 home games lol

I bet all those programs mentioned are scared to death of getting beat by 4-4 Auburn

UGA has played 8 games total. If they have played 8 home games that is pretty damned impressive considering they still have 2 home games....that would leave 2 games away from Athens. One probably ought be offering opinions when one is ill equipped with the knowledge to do so.....

I'm just wondering how Georgia got 8 home games this year and only 4 road games.

I also wonder how Georgia plays such a piss poor OOC every year.

It will be interesting to see how the Bulldogs play on the road @ Ole Miss and South Carolina

The proposed twenty four team playoff can only mean one thing. The destruction of conferences and traditional rivalries in order to usher in a junior NFL like league.

What other reason could there be to go from twelve to twenty four. This format renders late season rival games moot because dinged up starters will be pulled from teams already qualifying for the playoffs.

Anyone who wants to preserve conferences and traditional rivalries needs to let their voices be heard!

I don't think they understand the downward pressure on home-game ticket prices when the league goes to a 24-team playoff. Tickets will sell on the secondary market for less than face value for 50% of games.

1. Wins mean less, so W/L records will be mediocre. Meh, I'll watch on TV if I'm not hunting or fishing, etc...

2. Starters will play less, with lower quality of play.

3. Many will check out until the playoff... See college basketball.

4. The totality of play will be more generic, like the NFL.. I haven't watched in 30 years.

They didn't get 8 home games so there is that.

UGA plays a piss poor OOC schedule every year because many years that OOC schedule includes 2 and sometimes 3 ACC teams in the form of Georgia Tech and Clemson during the regular season and FSU in the post season.

Greg Maddux and Tom Brady would be selling insurance if they were 14 this year and trying to develop in the current state of the games

I think the cream will still rise to the crop. It makes total sense, given the chaos that has become building a collegiate roster, that people would want prioritize rolling the dice on developing dudes with outstanding tangibles.

Tom Brady was an okay college QB. He didn’t wind up doing what he did in the NFL because of what he did in college either way.
