The players care less when they’re being paid. Shocking.

Paid for lackluster production by the way. They’re being courted like they did as high school prospects but given hundreds of thousands to millions based on potential.

Kirby is bound for the NFL or retirement in the next couple of years.

I hate to say it but I think he probably retires with Bobo (who's son is a senior) or maybe does 1 more cycle. The team is really young now so there's hope, but I know the Justus Terry deal & the QB recruiting bullshite have taken a huge toll on the fans' patience & likely Kirby's even more.

It feels like UGA just isn't as hungry in general. We blew our 40 year load & ran it back 15-0. Who wants to blow 8 figures now to compete with drunken sailors like Texas & Miami?

Its a bit more interesting when you cant say with 98% certainty that the #2 team will defeat #20 or lower.

Yes. A fake world in which fiat makes delusion reality.

The destination used to be the NFL. Now CFB is the destination and there is an entire group of players who excel at college ball but will not have NFL careers doing everything they can to squeeze every last drop of money out of CFB while they play it because their earning potentials are all downhill after this

While I agree with this, Kirby isn’t wrong. CFP is more trash now than it ever was.

Alabama fans seems to be the most dissatisfied with today’s college football. Very interesting.

Keeping half the best players on the bench as backups on a couple of teams was not good for the sport at all.
This is a bit hyperbolic, but I understand your opinion. My opinion is that I would much rather have 10 teams that execute well and have several studs on the team than the exceedingly poor product we have today. I believe most passionate CFB fans agree.

The people at Indiana, UCLA, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, Kentucky......and tons more prefer the new way.

The product is actually better entertainment than ever before.

fans of programs like bama, Ohio state and I’d include Georgia since Kirby took over…I’d agree

But passionate fans of ole Miss and Kentucky probably do not

I noticed a few defenders yesterday who looked like they were playing at half speed.

Auburn players, so maybe an outlier.

I am loving this season...but probably because we now have a steady pulse with Kiffin in charge after nearly flat-lining with Brian Kelly at the helm...

I am liking the parity...

Kirby should have bit his lip about players getting paid...

It is this.

Having 20 programs still thinking they have a shot as we enter November means far more fans than it already being down to 5 or 6 teams left with any sort of shot this time of year.

It is much healthier for the entire sport overall as we see with tv ratings.

Correct. Season would be over already for a lot of these teams. But they still have a chance. People on here acting like the 2010s was some prime era of the sport.

All I’ll say is watch FCS and the lower divisions. They represent what the FBS used to be.
