East Pod
Georgia
SC
Florida
Kentucky

West Pod
A&M
Texas
Missouri
Arkansas

South Pod
Alabama
Auburn
Miss St
Ole Miss

North Pod
Tennessee
Oklahoma
LSU
Vandy

10 game conference schedule. One permanent game against a team from another pod. Play the other 6 games against two teams from each of the other pods.

Best two teams met in the SEC Championship Game.

I'm going to laugh when it goes full retard, gimmicky with 2 x permanent rivals and some sort of annual opponent draft lottery system.

stupid

It's unequal and a logistical nightmare. Plus the people pushing for their their matches are disregarding the greater interests of other teams rivalry games

Kentucky's pod will be:

South Carolina
Tennessee

That much we know.

This has to be just a troll for LSU fans. Because we literally have rivalry games with six or so schools and none of them are in the pod

So, it's better to create an annual Alabama-Vanderbilt game and risk losing the Auburn-Georgia game?

Creating pods and then creating a cross-pod rivalry to maintain the necessary permanent rivals is no less of a logistical nightmare.

The schedule nonsense of not playing every team within a reasonable amount of time has always been a blight on the SEC. It's time to make the hard decisions to make it possible for every team to play every other team home and away over a 4 year span.

You keep the

Alabama/Tennessee
Alabama/Auburn
Alabama/LSU
Auburn/Georgia
Georgia/Florida
Georgia/USC
Florida/Tennessee
Tennessee/Vanderbilt
Florida/LSU
LSU/Arkansas
LSU/OM
OM/MSU
LSU/A&M
A&M/Texas
Texas/OU
Texas/Arkansas
Arkansas/OU
Arkansas/MU

All intact with the pods described earlier and one fixed rivalry game per pod

This is the way to go.

The only way to accomplish this is to remain at 8 conference games. The pod arrangement is largely irrelevant if the goal is to create as many 9-3 or better teams as possible.

This only has 2 maybe 2.5 teams total in it.

We can't do anything about Tennessee. But if you look every pod has one stinker. People tell me Tennessee will be great again

Completely agree. I’ve played all possibilities out through my head and this is the most logical solution.

exactly, and it is truly so easy to do a 4 pod system and preserve all those.

No it's not.

Go ahead and try and you won't be able to do it with just those teams.

Yep, this is what I've been saying for years now. I don't see any other method that works.
