Conference games only. Nonconf anything goes. Kinda surprised they only had one false start. Pretty disciplined by them.

Loudest I’ve heard that stadium in a while. Our fanbase needed that so bad

Imagine being an 18 year old freshmen and that was your first game as a student. A lot of life long state fans were made last night

I had the unfortunate timing to be there during Jackie's last year and start of Croom.

There was very little excitement in Starkville during that time.

I remember losing to Maine and then beating Florida. Norwood carried that team.

Also Croom was the last MSU coach to beat Bama including NS.

Not a lot to celebrate during that time but we did have a few decent moments.

Sec rule. Not NCAA. And it’s when opposing center is over the ball.

Both teams coached correctly.

ASU ran the ball at the three yard line tk run clock and hopefully win with a field goal.

MSU defense stood then up and used their time outs.

That goal line stand was tremendous, and its started by running them down at the 2 instead of letting them score. Nice to see a State team that doesn't default to quit.

The bells stopped ringing after the back judge got in position and a couple seconds before the snap. State fans have been trained well on when to stop ringing; although, you won’t get everyone to stop especially at the end of a close game.

I know for a fact they kept ringing last night well past that. The AZ QB was signaling he couldn't hear when he was trying to call for the ball from the center

Given what has happened over the last two years, I think we should be shown some grace there. Since 2010, the fans have done a great job of respecting protocols regarding the cowbells. That got blown up Saturday, but it was an OOC game and after what their coach said during the week, I think ASU got what they deserved.
Going forward I believe the fans will be much better especially during the SEC games.

ASU deserved to lose that game playing man coverage in that situation when the dawgs scored the goal ahead TD.

That's up there with rushing 3 on 4th and 31 in the Iron Bowl as far as dumbass defensive play calls go.
