re: MS State’s SEC Viability

An alumni recently donated 100mm to the university. State’s NIL has 18 million committed from 4 poor State graduates over the last 9 months.
I can confirm the cheating is rampant. My daughter just graduated this past December and she admits, she and all of her friends cheated to get through. To say I was pissed, was an understatement. It happens at all schools, but I have first hand knowledge of Ole Miss. Mist of her classes were online. My son is at State and he has 100% in class. He’s also an engineering student.
Typical State Sky is falling mentality. Our message board warriors typically only bring the most pessimistic post.
10 seed? Every projection has State as 4/5 seed.
Considering until this last season, the home team had lost 8 out of the last 10. Congrats Rebs on another underperforming season. It will be fun to watch the Lane Trains X feed next year after losing for the most part, all of his starters.

Are you referring to the proud alumni that served jail time? Classy brag
State has had over 12mm in contributions from 3 alumni over the last couple of months towards NIL and has raised 18 million during the same time frame. Revenue sharing is directly from the conference rights and not from the schools. Enjoy next season as you lose most of your starters while having one of the easiest schedules in the conference and as always underperform. State will make the playoffs before the Rebs, which will be years at a minimum for both.
Let’s see the Rebs record over the same time frame including one of the SEC’s longest losing streaks at 21 games.
