America will be tuning in to watch Lane Kiffin stomp his old team. Dodging golf balls and mustard bottles along the way. It's gonna be a barn burner.

I think its a major deal to LSU/Ole Miss fans

I think it's likely to be viewed by other SEC fans if their game isn't going on

I don't think the rest of the nation really cares that much. It may get a ton of viewership, but I just dont think it moves the needle for a lot of people. Clemson/LSU was a bigger deal to the country

Maybe but it had the benefit of being the only semi-interesting game on paper and it was opening weekend. It may carry more viewers. I suspect LSU - Ole Miss will be #2 though. People expect a shitshow nationally. They're going to tune in.

I can only tell you from what I am hearing and seeing, the people in North Texas seem to care a lot more about this game than they did the Clemson game....now maybe its just here but I think you're mistaken.

Lucky to get half as many ratings as Texas vs Ohio State, and will probably over by half time when Leavitt leaves the game with a boot on his foot

lol, what a bad take. Guy from south carolina thinks the unranked south carolina team was a more anticipated matchup.

I think the team from another conference on the opening week vs a brand new coach in Lane Kiffin is a bigger draw than ole miss with Pete Golding vs LSU.

Someone else said it as well, but Texas/OSU was definitely a bigger more anticipated matchup

Horns get their first potentially impressive win in 10 years at home by 1 point and they get all confident again. We'll see how the season goes.
