Eric Zeier
Champ Bailey
Hines Ward
Richard Seymour
AJ Green
Justin Houston
All would play at one point or another one some good UGA teams, but also played on some BAD ones too.

That 2018 Ole Miss team was so frustrating. We started the season 5-2 and picked up a tough win over Arkansas on the road. The very next game vs. Auburn, we played hard for 30 minutes, then got blown out in the second half and lost by two scores. We proceeded to lose our last five games of 2018 and finish 5-7, with no loss being more difficult to swallow than our overtime loss to Vanderbilt.
A tough win over a 2-10 Arkansas? Lol. We only beat bad teams that year.

Whoever the greatest player at Vanderbilt from the last 50 years is.

We actually won the SEC twice with Hodson at QB. A better example would be Kevin Faulk in 1998.

UGA's last two losing seasons were in 2010 (6-7, but did play in and lose a bowl) and 1996 (5-6... my freshman year at UGA).
For 2010 UGA, the name is obviously AJ Green. Justin Houston was also on that team. Alec Ogletree and Aaron Murray were big contributors on that squad as well.
For 1996 Hines Ward, Matt Stinchcomb, Robert Edwards, Adam Meadows and Champ Bailey are the big names. Future coaches Will Muschamp, Mike Bobo and Kirby Smart were also on the team.

Y'all could have hung a 100 on us and so could have a&m and UGA that season

Kenvin Mawae was pretty good on that 1992 LSU team that went 2-9. 1st or 2nd team all sec from 1991-1993. Guy probably gets all american multiple years if Curly Hallman wasn't such a disaster.

It was either Pharoh Cooper or Deebo that had a 90 yard, last minute td taken away by penalty, and South Carolina ended up losing to an FCS team

1977 Auburn went 5-6 while running the wishbone with THREE (!!!) future NFL All-Pros in the same backfield - William Andrews, James Brooks and Joe Cribbs. The rest of the team was garbage though.
1988 Florida had a lot of talent including Emmit Smith and four other first round draft picks (Trace Armstrong, Louis Oliver, etc) but they had a bad year and lost to a Vanderbilt team that was one of the worst in SEC history.
Not college or even SEC but Tim Brown's senior year high school team went 0-10 and only won 3 or 4 games during his career. And he was the #1 recruit in the country. How do you not win a high school game with a Heisman Trophy winner and future NFL Hall of Famer who was known a swiss army knife weapon (running, receiving, kick returning, pass defense)???

The two Joe Moorehead teams at Mississippi State in 2018-19 were loaded, especially on defense.
Seven defensive players were drafted from the 2018 team, including three first-rounders. Moorehead inherited a lot of talent. His defense was set. All he had to do was produce on offense like he was hired to do.

Nah. At the time, Auburn had four 1,000 rushers in the previous 3 seasons. Tre was eying continuing the streak, and Auburn was using that as a recruiting tactic.
That streak ended up being something like 9 seasons in a row, because we decided to play walk-ons & Auburn decided to keep running Tre in the ground, despite averaging less than 3 yards per carry entering the 4th quarter.
It’s a rivalry. And when Auburn sucks as much as they do & we frequently as you do, we have to find ways to make it fun. frick you.

Eric Berry on Tennessee's terrible 2008 and 2009 teams
He was the star of the team...but that team also had:
Robert Ayers - 10 years in NFL
Britton Colquitt - 11 years in the NFL
Arian Foster - 7 years in NFL (4x Pro Bowl)
Dan Williams - 6 years in the NFL
Jacques McClendon - 6 years in the NFL
Chris Scott - 8 years in the NFL
That team went 3-5 in conference and 5-7 overall in 2008. To this day, I say that Dave Clawson is the only force in the world who could hold Arian Foster under 100 yards in a game (his only 100 yard game was against UAB that season).

I’ll always have a soft spot for Tre Mason somehow scraping a 1000 yard season out of 2012.
It's even harder for an offensive player to do something like this when the team is sucking badly.
