The Great Corndog Excuse Thread

Instead of having multiple threads full of corndog tears, we should just consolidate all of this pathetic excuse making into a single location. To help get the conversation started, I'll take the most common excuses off the board so you don't have to repeat yourselves constantly, although this may tax your already shrunken vocabulary ("vocabulary" means "words and such"):
-That was the team Lane built!
-Wait til next year!
-TROs and stuff (which I thought were super popular in Louisiana, but I guess not)
-This was their Super Bowl!
-Some blather about officials
-Lane doesn't have his program together yet, needs another $90 million
-Small stadium and stuff
-We really needed those NFL players, actually
-Leavitt was banged up, he actually can pass a football when healthy
-Basketball hoop was too new
-Lane was supposed to have Ole Miss' team this season, not our team!

I have none.
Everybody from Lane Kiffin down is getting paid out the arse to perform at a level that is yet to be deserving. LSU did well to keep it close Saturday, but still left opportunities on the field. It’s still long season, but I refuse to brush aside inadequacies. That’s a team full of professional athletes now. They don’t get the leeway they used to in my mind.

If we beat A&M this Saturday, then we're still in the playoff hunt. We've got to improve week to week, but losing to OM on the road, in that environment, is not devastating. Lot's to play for still.

If you’re gonna claim to be the villain you can’t make excuses when losing to a team you call “the runts” lmao. Just makes you look weak and pathetic. But the Melts have been glorious.

It was a tough watch on TV. They kept showing the same old woman that I guess the cameraman thought was a milf. She was not. Very distracting.

I'm gonna go with:
OM played better than LSU did.
The crowd affected the game.
OM had the better QB.
I thought we were gonna snag it at the end, but OM made the play and LSU didn't. At least the game lived up to the fanfare!

Only morally corrupt programs would take an eligibility case before a local judge, right?
