How do you feel about the boys trying out for the girls teams?

The same as I do for transexuals playing against women - I’m against it.

I’m pretty fair and reasonable but not 100% of the time.

And a question for you- if a gal were good enough and actually made the team better, would you want her on your football team?

I was excited for it and was pretty pissed when it was all said and done. The kid gloves the announcers treater her with were insane. It was a TERRIBLE kickoff, but they couldn't talk about that....had to keep gushing about historic it was...it wasn't. Not saying they had to shite on her...just say that's clearly not what she was going for, maybe she has the tools to contribute to this team with some weeks of practice under her belt, but she aint there now.... but no. Girl trots out there and cranks out a kickoff shorter than what the back-up fullback likely would have been able to accomplish and we have to be in awe...frick that.

I think it’s both a stunt and not a big deal. The way y’all are hating on this girl, I’m starting to think y’all are a bunch of queers. You don’t have to boldly stand for boys, girls, missionary, baby Jesus, and apple pie. Those things take care of themselves.

There is no men's soccer team at Vandy, they needed a kicker at the last second due to covid quarantine,

There is a men's club team where they no doubt could have found a better option.

Vandy Men's Soccer.

Someday, a trans female will break the college softball home run record at Vandy.

And that will be another great day for women. Amirite?

Was it? It was a squib kick that could have bounced favorably back to Vandy.

Do you know how many hungry people got fed and how much of a drop in the crime stats was bc of this? Yeah none.

FTR I wanted her to kick a FG. Sorry Mizzou wouldn't allow it.

Unfortunately, because they had such an inept coach, they couldn't find the endzone. If she had been able to kick an extra point, that would have been something.

Did you see it?
It was a low soft liner right to an up blocker. 115 players on the opposing team would have had zero stress fielding that kickoff.

There was no hope and no chance that anything productive for Vandy was going to come from that kickoff

No it couldn't have....it was too far for that, but not far enough to give Mizzou bad field position...hell it looked like it was going out of bounds for a flag and the mizzou player dove on it out of pity.

Props to her for stepping in that fast with little to no practice on a football team, but let's call it what it was.... and it was not some historic moment

It was a complete publicity stunt. Anyone that says otherwise is kidding themselves.

Check my posts. I said she was cute, lol. I’m sure she’s a wonderful girl and probably a good female athlete in her sport.

It’s a big deal when the media gloms onto her one pathetic play like she’s Susan B Anthony fighting for women’s equality and the right to vote. Few will remember her name in two years. I repeat, it’s ridiculous..

The girl that tried out for LSU a few years ago was way better than this girl.

So they got zero return yards from it and started at the 35. Vandy is 83 in the nation in Kickoff return defense.

I can't wait to see the 30-for-30, when it's revealed that she and the Mizzou player are now lifelong friends, which it turns out, was the real treasure all along.

So you are not in favor of a male playing on a female team, but are in favor of a female playing on a male team?

if you are being "fair and reasonable" how do you rationalize the above stance?

Check out the headline on ESPN'S college football home page LOL.

I started the thread and it is definitely a stunt. I am not hating on her at all, I think she was being used by the PC Lords at Vanderbilt. I love women so I don't think I will be playing for the other team anytime soon. Anyone in their right mind knows a woman does not belong on the field with 300 pound bruisers with a bad attitude.
