I can't wait to see the 30-for-30, when it's revealed that she and the Mizzou player are now lifelong friends, which it turns out, was the real treasure all along.
What if I told you....the bar at vandy could anchor down ever lower? An ESPN 30-for-30 film: Shut out into History: The story of the first female power five 20 yard squib kick

So they got zero return yards from it and started at the 35. Vandy is 83 in the nation in Kickoff return defense.
A kick out of bounds starts at the 35 yard line. That is a penalty and results in 0 return yards. Is a kick out of bounds progress for a poor coverage team? Absolutely not.
I'm not sure where her kick offered anything productive for vandy.

I'm not hating on Sarah at all. I want to call out the people at ESPN that are constantly drooling over this, and the people at Vandy that thought they could use Sarah to get some PR for Vandy (which it did absolutely work).
ETA: it is funny that the same people at ESPN claim college athletes are being taken advantage of are the ones that are falling over themselves to proclaim this is a monumental event. When the admin at Vandy put a female on a D1 football field to get some PR for the university.

I was under the assumption that the kick was directional and on purpose. Although there was no real need for Vandy to do one there so I guess it remains a stunt.

Take a look at the media if you want to see how "a bunch of queers" are reacting. She's not pretty enough for heterosexuals to be fawning over her.

it was absolutely a directional kick on purpose.

bingo, why was it a directional kick?
- Could she not kick the ball deep?
- Did they not want Missouri to return the ball where Sarah may of been blocked or had to make a tackle?

They were down by 21 and finished with fewer than 200 yards. The frick else were they supposed to do? The same things that haven't worked all year?

Hell, one of our kickers broke a kick returners neck.
Wish her the best, but what she is doing is not sustainable and is creating a disaster down the road much like the one at Colorado.

I don't see how that defends her in any way. But you are not wrong about Vandy not doing anything productive.

A squib kick to the side isn't going to result in much of a return. Was it the "best" thing the coaches could have called? Maybe not, but the other options weren't much better. It had pretty much no impact on the game, like most kickoffs.

Field position absolutely impacts the game. I'm not sure what sport you are watching.
If you are trying to say that her involvement did not impact the Vandy loss, then you are correct. Congrats to her for contributing to Vandys 1 kickoff attempt all game (and we all know why Vandy only got 1 kickoff all game... it is the mandatory minimum)
