I've been confused about why former players playing in the Super Bowl is all of a sudden a program defining measuring stick this year. We've never had this many threads celebrating it. It happens every year.

LSU fans finding out that LSU leads in some random stat and then spending the new few weeks/months/years trumpeting that stat as the true measure of program dominance is one of my favorite tropes on this board. Just wait until LSU no longer leads and you will never hear about it again.
