It’s almost as bad as the league office being in Birmingham.. this is something that has to be rotated every year. Atlanta, New Orleans, Nashville, Biloxi would all be viable options as far as distance for teams. Not sure if this has been discussed but definitely something worth looking into.

I almost feel that it should be in Nashville because we know Vandy will never be in it.

It's fine where it is, the SEC isn't giving the Atlanta market to the ACC

The SECCG has been so successful, I doubt they are going to mess with anything.

Of all the conference CC games, the SEC has had the best attendance and viewership, they’re probably in no hurry to mess with what has worked. I have no problem with “going to Atlanta” being a permanent part of SEC football culture/goals.

To be fair, when they set up an SEC championship game the idea of UGA actually playing in it was remote.

That’s no elephant in the room. The league had it in Birmingham at first then moved it to Atlanta. Don’t like it, don’t win the West.

New Orleans has hosted numerous championship events in many different sports. It needs to be in the sec championship game rotation without a doubt.

Just gets dumber and dumber. Once Nashville comes on line sure, until then, shut up. New Orleans is stuck in a time warp and the Super Dome is hideous. Texas isnt close to anyone but the worst team in the conference.

Nashville will be a great locations once the Dome is completed. They replacing Nissan Stadium with a dome.

I just don’t see the SEC playing it’s championship game in a high school stadium.

Remind me again how many times Tennessee has played in it vs. how many times UGA has….

The contract is Atlanta for several years to come…maybe five? The contract will go to Atlanta again before the current contract expires. SEC is not that concerned with travel, they are paying colleges expenses anyway.

It isn’t like A&M, Missouri, Arkansas and the soon to be added will have to worry about it being a problem for them for many years to come.

How is that pertinent to the list? The cities were Atlanta, Nashville, New Orleans and Biloxi. Knoxville wasn't on the list...I would have laughed, had it been.

People do realize the ACC's wet dream is for the SEC to give up Atlanta, right? The ACC would move their game there in a heartbeat and never move it.
