That's a wash, no?
LSU's worst defense since 2000 (possibly longer) vs. Bama's worst offense since 2007.
LSU's second-best offense in school history vs an average to below-average Bama D in the Saban era at Bama.
Plus, the gift of an off night for an otherwise stellar Bama STs group, at least from a PK perspective.
It was a really good game. Fun to watch. Neither team is playing at a championship level, but that didn't take away from a quality product on the field.

Honestly I dont follow local bama stuff but is this being talked about? Riechard is solid. Had a bad night no doubt.

Yes, he's the most dependable in years.
All time SEC points leader. 3rd all time in the NCAA (I think 28 points from 1st).
He had a crazy consecutive FGs made streak going into the game, and he pushed two kicks right that are typically almost certainties for him. That is a 6 point swing and field position advantage for the opposing team given the turn over on downs.

Glad you let us know your feelings but we do play tackle football. I would be pissed as an LSU fan if we had an opposing QB that was banged up some and refused to hit him. It’s part of the game.

Do you people even like tackle football?
LSU switched over to touch football around 2013 and hasn’t looked back.

Will Anderson was probably the more talented of the two. But Dallas Turner is responsible for more tears, and with just one play, than Will Anderson was over his whole career.

Saban ordered the code red and Turner was payed handsomely I’m sure.
Did your #66 get paid as well? Looking like a matador doing the old Ole' routine. He should have kept the choke hold on DT while he had it.

If it were just this one hit I'd disagree with the corndog OP, but go back to last year and see how Dallas Turner took out Quinn Ewers and changed the course of the game. Look familiar?

Dang, it must be scary to go up against him as an opposing quarterback.

Exactly how much time do you think there was between the ball leaving and Turner nailing Daniels?

The qb that runs a lot was banged up already? Well that’s a surprise. The defense should have played extra soft against the poor guy
Sheesh
Sheesh

Different thing altogether, but did they ever clarify what the personal foul was on LSU's opening series that led to the Nabers long TD catch?
Daniels looked like he tripped over either a Bama DL or LSU offensive lineman when backing up after the pass without even falling to the ground.
Not trying to energize the Turner-Daniels "discussion," but was just wondering as I hadn't seen that other call explained.

I was thinking that it was actually pass interference. I didn't see anything that indicated personal foul. The refs never announced it did they?

They didn't. The ref kept his mic off, but I think ref signaled personal foul call. I thought possible PI on Nabers coverage, but it looked "okay."
The personal foul call had the booth speculating on a late hit.
I don't know.

Turner very clearly landed with all his weight on him. IDGAF what is PC to say, it was definitely intentional to hurt Daniels. Also, he was a defenseless player and forcible contact to the head/neck area is plain to see, so targeting should absolutely have been called and Turner thrown out. I don't know that it would have made a difference in the game at that point. But it should have been called along with the horsecollar that was also done to Daniels.

The Dallas Turner hit did stand out to me, and the outrage is not getting portrayed properly. To me, Dallas Turner made that hit with intention to hurt Jayden Daniels. It's well known, JD has been dealing with bruised ribs since the Mizzou game. He runs a lot and is banged up. There's no way Dallas Turner didn't know that. The hit was fine, but lifting and landing with all of his weight onto JD's midsection was 100% an intentional move imo. The ball was gone, he had plenty of time to not do that. He knew what he was doing and it was done to hurt Jayden Daniels. The worst part was, we were down 2 TDs in the 4th quarter and trending towards defeat anyway. We hand't stopped their offense from scoring a TD since the first drive. We had maybe one more chance to spark a miracle comeback, and it wasn't even looking possible at that point. So this hit didn't even affect the game, I think DT was frustrated with all the yards JD racked up and was not content enough with winning, he wanted to hurt our guy. I understand it's football, and shite happens. But, this was unnecessary.
All these LSU guys saying BAMA keeps bringing it up - here ya go. One of your own
