Yea we got beat fair and square and I didn't think there was any foul play by the referees or anything like that. Good game to the tide.
The Dallas Turner hit did stand out to me, and the outrage is not getting portrayed properly. To me, Dallas Turner made that hit with intention to hurt Jayden Daniels. It's well known, JD has been dealing with bruised ribs since the Mizzou game. He runs a lot and is banged up. There's no way Dallas Turner didn't know that. The hit was fine, but lifting and landing with all of his weight onto JD's midsection was 100% an intentional move imo. The ball was gone, he had plenty of time to not do that. He knew what he was doing and it was done to hurt Jayden Daniels. The worst part was, we were down 2 TDs in the 4th quarter and trending towards defeat anyway. We hand't stopped their offense from scoring a TD since the first drive. We had maybe one more chance to spark a miracle comeback, and it wasn't even looking possible at that point. So this hit didn't even affect the game, I think DT was frustrated with all the yards JD racked up and was not content enough with winning, he wanted to hurt our guy. I understand it's football, and shite happens. But, this was unnecessary.

“The Dallas Turner Hit” on Jayden Daniels
Now more famous than “The Javon Bullard Hit” on Marvin Harrison jr?

Sorry the LB hit your QB too hard.

I think Turner intended no injury to Daniels. So.

Could have also been a little payback for the horse collar tackle on Milroe. That play was just as likely to cause injury.

Players try to make plays. What defensive player says to themselves before or during a play, “I’m going to try to make this tackle in a soft, responsible manner.”? No one. Their goal is to go make the play, and that’s what I think Dallas Turner was trying to do.

I thought it was spectacular.

Nothing an LSU fan would ever say
DAllas Turner hit Jayden and the ball had not been long gone. It was almost at the time he released it. It was a hard hit. As far as Daniels having "bruised ribs" and Bama should have taken it easy, well, did LSU take it easy on Tua in 2018 on the illegal motion penalty when an LSU player literally dove at his legs? That is utterly funny. No, you play the game hard and physical. I remember the LSu announcers bitching in 2013 because Bama blitzed Mett on 4 straight LSU offensive plays saying that was uncalled for. WTF???? Maybe Bama should have said hey Mett, tough night, we know you are beat up so we won't hit you. LSU fans have a problem with the fact that Bamas defense isn't just letting you gash them this year like with ole Petey. Bama is coming hard and fast with Steele. Turner is not Will Anderson. Turner is a dog that is playing every play like its his last and as he said "I
am going where the football is". The way a Bama player should play.
You lost, you were worn out by the more physical team.
