I owe Mr. Two Bits. I took my middle son to the Florida v. Alabama game back when Florida was about to set the record for the longest home winning streak in the history of college football. Back when Spurrier was coach and they frickin' owned Georgia.
My middle kid liked a winner and was starting to dig the gators. Then I took him to a game and he saw Mr. Two Bits. It was the dumbest thing he had ever seen in his 4th grade year old life. From that moment on he was a Dawg fan forever.
And Alabama, with Shaun Alexander, won in something like two overtimes. But what left an impression on my son was the stupidity of Mr. Two Bits.

Poor kid, he had an opportunity to be a fan of a team that he could see win national championships. Instead he chose to be a fan of team known for underachieving and having not won a national championship in his lifetime.
