LSU does the same thing other schools do and takes advantage of the rules as they are written and fans, sports media, and other league officials lose their minds. But, it’s pretty obvious that this is all coming from the “LSU is the villain” narrative, not from any objective reality. Alabama or Ohio State does the same thing and everyone shrugs.
This is all a narrative rather than reality. But, you can’t see that because you’re drowning in the narrative.
Soft.
But, go ahead. Change the rules you already paased. The anti-LSU hate is hilarious at this point. If Saban were still here, he would have done this first and everyone would have been fine with it.

The whiplash from LSU fans is wild.
Yesterday they all loved being the villain and there was nothing anybody could do to stop them.
Today, they complain about the SEC stopping them.

It's just so hypocritical to be against TROs for some kids and for them for others. Either the NCAA can enforce their rules or they can't. You can't say a TRO for this is cool but a TRO for that isn't. Playing after your eligibility is exhausted is against NCAA rules. Player gets TRO. Yayayayayaya.
Entering the draft and returning after the NCAA drops the 5 for 5 news is against the NCAA rules. Player gets TRO. BOOOOOOO!!!!

Very small.
Most of us don’t like any of this shite. But two things are happening.
LSU is exploiting the rules as they are right now and putting together teams that are (hopefully) leaps and bounds better than what we had.
Also Simultaneously putting on full display how absurd the current situation is.
It’s a win for everyone.

Oh, I’m fine being the villain. I don’t care. I’m talking about you.

Please go back and review the period when the Bediako scenario was unfolding, and point to where opposing fans, league commissioners, and/or courts, were "shrugging."
About 90% of the aforementioned, including posters on this board who are defending this today, were opposing it back then. A lot of (if not most) Alabama fans included.
So don't drag us into your descent towards villainy – you made this bed, not Alabama or Ohio State.

False. If I had the time I could easily go back and pull receipts of all the LSU posters who were clutching their pearls in outrage at Bama trying to bring Bediako back. You all wanted the games he played in forfeited, the AP to refuse to rank Alabama, and the Selection Committee to leave Bama out of the tourney for playing him. Not to mention all the media outrage. Don't act surprised LSU is receiving the same treatment.

More Lane is the arrogant arse than LSU is the villain,
How many conference or division titles has Lane won in his 7 head coaching jobs outside of two in CUSA?
How many times fired?
You have to show success to be a real villain.

I actually agree with you. But the Bediako situation is slightly different. These kids left college to pursue pro football because they were out of eligibility. Then the 5 for 5 thing happens and that opens up an avenue to play again. I would be perfectly fine with whoever throwing out ALL the TROs and ruling them all ineligible. I thinik that's fair. But we can't allow selective TROs to pass because we are okay with that rule being broken but not that rule being broken.

Not everything is bias or a melt.
Truth is, over the past year LSU has done some crazy sh*t on par with TTU.
When you repeatedly act crazy, expect us to believe you’re insane.

They lack the ability to create their own thoughts and use reasoning. Typical leftist behavior. They just like jumping on the current trend.

Well said, and I totally agree.

I think the NFL players is something that most folks don't agree with. Its not a melt. Its just not historically been allowed. Because a LA court issued a TRO doesn't make it any less palatable than the Sorsby issue at TTU.
And I would expect the SEC to address the issue like the Big 12 did with Sorsby.
