Listening to Finebaum I think most of there fans are ok and really are grateful for the invite. It’s a small percentage of there fans that act like there greatest program ever because they’ve really been under achievers and the Butthurt makes them that way.

Their fan base is overwhelmingly a bunch of arrogant self entitled spoiled whiners. It’s just starting, SEC. They truly believe they are entitled to special privileges and status. They are the only fan base that will whine and bitch about everything from “horns down” to defensive hits, they will publicly trash their own players, destroy any conference if it gives them an advantage. If you’re a Miss State, Vanderbilt, Missouri, S Carolina your time in the SEC is coming to an end.

I've never been in favor of it. Too much drastic change for me. This helps no one but Texas on the field...I don't care how many more millions each University gets. They are trying to leach off the SEC's success in order to regain elite status and the SEC is giving it to them on a silver platter.
Also College Football has tribalism ingrained into it. Our squad is the best and yours is trash. Our conf is the best and yours is trash...it feels a lot different when half the country's footprint is in the "SEC". Hate it.
It will turn into NFL lite and I don't like that at all. I'm a fan of the NFL and enjoy it but I don't want my College Football going that route.

As an OU fan, I embrace the move, I wanted it 10 years ago and was PISSED when Boren declined the invitation because the SEC didn't want little brother too. I am excited to see OU compete at a level that has been lost since 2010. I think our culture will be a good fit.
My only regret is that I feel a bit dirty bringing Texas along...
