How tough a pill will it be to swallow when Mullen countpunts Florida in week 5 next year?

He is. Frost is the major player everyone wants. Knows both sides of the ball, dynamic personality. Learned under some of the best minds in football history. Yea..Frost is worth it.

I agree, in Stricklin’s presser yesterday, he brought up Mullen. Although he was complementary of Mullen, you could tell by his comments they arnt best buds! He made the statement that him and Mullen were both very direct people and there were times that they were very direct with each other. I think if Mullen goes anywhere it would more likely by TAMU.

Mullen is undefeated in the Egg Bowl and it's killing them.

Wait, do you believe this?
I would think you're joking, but we've all seen your thoughts/ predictions regarding OM and the NCAA. You could honestly believe this

Lots of what ifs. When he got the team he wanted in the NFL, he still underperformed. Hes another "guru" IMO and a one trick pony.
That said, I cant tell you any coaches that seem to be slam dunk hires. There is a solid hire to be made in Dan Mullen. Id take him in a heartbeat

Mullen is the target given the AD's move. No other explanation for his actions.
Hardly. Get in Frost's agent's ear before Nebraska. Just as plausible.

I'm not sure Mullen is a great recruiter, and that's one of McElwain's problems.
Forget about coaching success at other schools or personal relationship with the UF AD. The primary focus for Florida in this search needs to be for someone that can consistently out-recruit Miami, FSU, every other SEC school and half the ACC and Big 10. If you look at the past coaching departures at Gainesville, they all either failed at recruiting or got lazy about it.

if I'm Frost, I wouldn't even interview for the Nebraska job.

I think I’d rather have Frost or Campbell than Kelly. Kelly just doesn’t seem like a good fit.

Mullen is the top target.. albeit im not sure if Frost would want to go to Nebraska...its not a top tier job.. or at least not what it use to be.. no recruiting base..

Florida isn't getting any of those 3.
Considering what they just did to JM, they'll be lucky to get a good high school coach.
After the hire is made, everybody will ask the same question, "Who is that guy and where is Middle Monroe State?"

What? Kelly would be ideal for Florida, with all the speed skill guys the state produces. Florida would be scary with Chip.

I can’t believe Florida fans would want anyone over Kelly.
Frost is definitely on the rise, but so was mcelwain at Colorado state. Kelly has proven he can win at a P5 school, frost hasn’t.
And besides, frost earned his stripes at Oregon under kelly’s disciple. Why take the student, when you could have the master?

It's gonna be Frost for Florida, and I think it will work out long term.
