Random Texas WR not playing hurts random Texas WR more than anybody else. Good luck to him with keeping his scholly and passing classes without his "football privilege" that exists at schools like Texas.

I would love for this to become a trend. People watch their team regardless of who is playing, otherwise no one would watch college athletics, everyone would just watch the pros, because they are better players.

When does the consumer reach a tipping point?

It's their #1 receiver Brennan Eagles for upcoming season, he's a rising junior and pretty well thought of as an NFL prospect.

I’d watch LSU vs Florida even if some frat boys were playing. As long as LSU is winning and it is the “real thing” I’d watch it.

He's at Texas. He was sitting out anyway.

Sounds like the player might be more pissed off that his coach is lying about meeting with him and his fellow teammates.

I wonder if he plans on being a part of the team but just not playing?

Perhaps you'd watch one time but after that you wouldn't... nobody would except for families and maybe a few students. Its the reason Ivy league stadiums are empty.
