That's 6th grade level grammar. This guy is in college? No wonder we are in the shape we are in.

It must be a living hell being a scholarship athlete on a division I football team nowadays.

He's getting an athletic scholarship, so he has the obligation to compete. People on academic scholarships don't get the option to sit out to protest. I don't get to leave my job to go protest. If he wants to sit out, then he can give up his scholarship. He's really making a sacrifice then.

Totally fair. He didn't say anything regarding Texas from being precluded in stripping his scholarship. If they want to do such, it's within their rights.

I sure hope that doesn't happen, but if Brennan was serious about this stance (I believe he deserves the benefit of the doubt to be considered serious about it) then hopefully he understands the potential repercussions.

Can we get a name for this Texas WR?

If he sits out, nobody will remember the name Brennan Hawks by October.

Supply and demand shows that kid has NO platform. He can sit out all he wants and so can every other player that wants to, there’s a 100 Walk ons and grad transfers that’d take his spot to play at UT.

College fans don’t pay to watch a player, they pay to watch their team. Good luck kid. Sadly those that do so will lose their spots and scholarships and education to prove a social media point. It’s only if the entire team including coaches joined him and if Herman wants to do that he can ask Gary Pinkel how that worked out when you tie your wagon to players who threaten NOT to play the games.
