We were 13 in a 12 team playoff, I know you dont like to live in facts but thats a couple spots out of the playoffs, given there are over 100 teams in CFP I would say thats "barely missed"

Should have not scheduled OSU and won an easy OOC like 90% of CFP does and they easily make it but is what it is.

Your DLine vs OSU's Oline is still the biggest matchup of the game IMO.

I agree. If our defense can get in and frequently disrupt OSU’s QB during pass plays, I like our chances much better. And stuff OSU’s running game.

It seems like our defense gave Texas State’s QB way too much time to pass last Saturday on too many plays.

First game against and over matched opponent are always extremely hard to take anything from. The matchup Saturday in the 1st quarter will say a lot about what the outcome of the game are going to be.

No way the sips win. Best they'll manage is a close loss, purely because its in Austin. Otherwise, the sips would lose by at least 14.

Almost forgot to ask!

Since College Gameday is in Pretend Cowboy Land, will they shoot their fake cannon through Julian Sayin’s jersey?

Worked out really well for them last time

Nah.

Sark has been 2nd choice behind Kiffin his entire career.

You lost to Ohio State last September.
You lost to Ohio State in the Playoffs.
You lost to Ohio State the last time they came to Austin 20 years ago in a #1 vs #2 game.

Gee, I think I'll go with Ohio State until you prove you can beat them in a game that matters.

I don't think you need to go back 20 years - dumb. If you do, then you have to go back one more and add Texas wins -- one at Columbus and one 19 years ago in Fiesta Bowl. We are talking about Ryan Day vs Sark. That's it, that's the game.

I think your defensive line vs OSU's oline is the key matchup. I like the matchup for y'all.

This is kind of the story on both sides and that will decide a lot.

I see Texas' edges as better than OSU's OTs but OSU's DTs as causing problems for Texas' interior. Someone made a point that Simmons does a bad job with his hands and that is one thing the OT who has slow feet does really well with his punch (which helped him do well against Simmons last year).

Skill position wise, everyone on this site knows both these teams have studs at WR/RB/QB.

It is a straight up pick'em for me. Talent is very even. Coaching is OSU until Sark proves he can beat the big boys. Turnovers and penalties will determine the winner.

Expecting a loss. Would be happy if we keep it close and not harm our playoff chances.
