I have Texas winning, but only because the OU QB is young and inexperienced.

By the way, asking for a friend, if you buy a ticket in the OU endzone, can you easily walk to the UT endzone?

Certainly. Concourses are sometimes a cluster F, but you could get there.

On paper Texas wins pulling away and Venerables seat gets quite a bit warmer.

However, on paper, nobody had Vanderbilt bullying Alabama and walking the dog on them. Or Arkansas out gutting a suddenly shaky Tennessee team for the win.

This is pretty much the season for OU right here. Win and they can turn things around. Lose and they might be fighting to avoid having to play in whatever today's version of the Poulin Weedeater Bowl is.

OU 24 Uterus 13. Texas being the heavy favorite and OU with nothing to lose has always turned out well for the Sooners.
If Sark really is the guy that finaly makes Texas not like they have always been, then the spread is probably right.
I think Texas is what they always are...a fricking media darlin hyped up paper tiger.
frick them horns.
I hope and pray your coaches and players are just as dumb as you are.

Not sure I think it was actually Venables who tripped to start the chain reaction

Why don't you listen to an unbiased observer who was there on the sidelines

The Cotton Bowl has never had a permanent home team (it was briefly home of the Dallas Texans who are now the KC Chiefs) so not only do both teams share the same entrance tunnel, there is no true Home and away sides. You'll see some gooner red peppered in among a sea of burnt orange on the north end, and a little burnt orange among the red methheads on the south end

If you cant objectively see the product on the field and that their ceiling has not been reached, I don't know what else to tell you.

OU doesn't have the defensive backfield to keep up with Texas WR room and they won't win a shootout if it even gets to that point for some reason. You probably have not watched Texas play a game all year besides Michigan.

Yes. It is also common for Texas fans with tickets on the OU side to find OU fans on the Texas side with similar seats and ask them if they want to switch.. and vice versa.. Most people have success in making this trade inside the stadium.

Just relieved gameday skipped it this year, even with the late kickoff.

It’s still like sardines from 30 minutes until kickoff. Hopefully the renovations alleviate that. The concourses weren’t designed for the expanded seating, currently.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years about this game is that when a team is heavily favored, rarely do they blow out the other team, let alone cover.

As you should.. if y'all are successful in the turnover game like you were last year, you will have a chance. Then again, your offense isn't anywhere close to as good as last year.

Maybe the kid shows up and plays his arse off, but our defense is a lot better than last year imo.

This game will come down to turnovers. If OU is +2 or more.. OU might win.. if it is even or Texas has the advantage, it will get ugly quick.

Do you have any idea how stupid that sounds?

What happened 5 years ago or 15 years ago doesn't matter.

The Okie o-line & QB situations are a mess.

The Okie defense is quality and will fight like hell. It won't matter.

Texas 39.
