Agree. And if the SEC schools ever truly believe and accept that they are David, and Texas is Goliath - then Texas is in trouble.
Right now, most SEC schools think they are all prima donnas, and this benefits Texas, because passion is not a factor.
Let me say this a different way - Kansas State could probably plow through an SEC prima donna schedule, kicking the shite out of all of us.
Because they are playing for something different. And they routinely beat that Texas arse.

Texas payed for their entire OL class that won a lot of games last year what part isn’t right ?

None of those teams have played for a SEC football title. A very winnable game by the way. Texas was unlucky enough to knock out the starter who threw for less than 50 yards.
Do Texas fans always brag about championship game appearances? I really thought they were better than this. It’s not like they’ve been totally abysmal their entire history.

They were compensated as well as any, but let’s not pretend Texas just outbid anyone for that class. Half those guys were late additions from coaching change situations.

All we heard from LSU fans two years ago was about how Kelly took LSU to Atlanta in his first year.

He made a comparison to teams who’ve never played in an SEC title. It was just a dumb angle.

So weird that elitist fans of an elite university are begging for the rest of the mean old sec fanbase to validate their success

At least one of them has been to multiple SEC championship games

You are an Aggie clone. Your excuse of it is NIL is funny and smells like envy cause you can't do it.

Jesus shut the frick up... What the frick good do you think idiotic posts like this will do?
If you expect to shift the narrative this is not the venue or approach.

You're stupid. It has everything to do with NIL. Especially football.

When Texas doesn’t win again we are going to make fun of you for NIL failure

39 players drafted 2000-2009
3.9 players per year
32 players drafted 2010-2022
2.67 players per year
28 players drafted 2023-2025
9.33 players per year
Our recruiting has always been good.
Our development has not been good.
I can’t find a list of our recruiting rankings going back to 2000, but with a few exceptions, we’ve been in the top 10 for most of those years with a lot of top five finishes.
You could post 1 million facts right now that are indisputable and these fricktards would still dispute it and they would still yell at the clouds, blah blah blame Texas blah blah Texas sucks blah blah, NIL blah blah, bullshite, bullshite, bullshite, bullshite..
You’re wasting your time.
Yes, Sark and his staff are developing players better than anytime I can remember in the history of the program.. going back 40+ years.
Is part of that reason in NIL? Yes, but it isn’t the only reason. Does anyone think Mack Brown couldn’t recruit? Why weren’t his players getting drafted at the rate that they are now?
Oh yeah, this is a waste of my time.

Its been 1 year in the SEC and last year we did more than you in every sport LSU and thats a fact. Sorry you had a better gymnastics team than we did.....

Didn’t read, but if you truly believe Sark went from 5-7 and 8-5 in his first two years to consecutive CFPs all because of “development”, I have a beautiful oceanfront property in Beaumont that you need to check out
Sark never even had a 10-win season on his resume until legalized pay-for-play
Recruiting & Develoment.
Texas lost a 5* RB the day before signing day because of Herman’s antics.
Tom Herman left Sark a team w/ 14 WR & 8ish OL. That would be big slow receivers with a large catch radius.
Sarks 1st year, there were 0 players drafted. He signed 7 OL his first year, pre NIL, and 2 are in the NFL after 3 years at Texas.
Texas has back to back years of double digit NFL Picks. 4 DL (Herman’s 3-5 stars recruits, Sarks & Texas development), 5 WR, 4 RB in 3 years. Next year will be better. Most of them were at Texas pre NIL.
Go read the narrative of Texas rookies in NFL training camps.”Developed, mature, work ethic,”
James Worthy & Matthew Golden we’re the fastest players in football. Patrick Mahomes & Jordan Love were pleasantly surprised how good they were when they got there: precise route runners, high football IQ. Matthew Golden wouldn’t have been a 1st Round draft choice if he stayed at Houston.
James Worthy had an interview where he knew what offense every NFL team ran, the QB, and their WRs. Every few teams “ yeah, they run the same offense WE do.”
Think what you want. It wont matter.

I didn’t read any of that…but I know Texas sucked for the last 30 years, except for 1, until they started paying for players and taking them from programs with more proven histories of developing players for the NFL.
Now, that metric is less important than how much they get paid in college…congrats I guess…
But you had 2 shots at a very pedestrian Georgia team and lost twice…

It has everything to do with NIL!
North Texas and Texas St were getting more players drafted than UT before NIL.
Hell UT would go forever without anyone getting drafted.
SO NOW...........with NIL............they have NFL talent because of player development???
BS............its bought players they couldnt get near before the Cash.
