I'm in the travel business.
You are picking the absolute worst time for pricing to go to NYC.
Prices on higher on flights BUT the hotels are insane. Anytime from Mid Nov to Jan 2 are insane....

I am taking my 2 kids in May. One is an LSU recent grad and the other will be a HS grad. That's where they wanted to go the most.
That said...doing all the touristy things- Times Sq, Statue of Liberty, NBC, and Yankee game also.
I have been probably 10 times and never felt unsafe. Just dont b...

Thats not true.
My son was on staff during that time at Neville.
They were friends.
This is all about money. The family is terribly poor and he is being shopped.
