Of course, getting the football teams on the same playing field is easier said than done. The two sides have not played since Texas A&M left the Big 12 for the SEC in 2012.

This will interfere with aTm games with the likes of Sam Houston State.

A&M has played ARZ state, UCLA and in 2019/20 they play Clemson. Replacing those opponents with Texas would just downgrade their strength of schedule.

Fans in this conference want TSIO to go away and you think we should care about games like A&M/UTx or Mizzou/Kansas? They can play who they want OOC, but it's not news for an SEC board.

If A&M had kept playing Texas we'd have gone 6-0 since joining the SEC and nobody would be talking about firing Sumlin.

Since the 70’s, the UT/ ATM series has been pretty much dead even.

Classic Aggie. Always undefeated in games not played. 6-0 against Daddy Texas in their dreams, yet 0-6 against stepdaddy LSU in reality.
