It's not a matter of "if" this rivalry starts again, its a matter of WHEN. In the last 2 months we've seen the student body vote to renew the rivalry and now the governor is on a mission. It's time to come out of the closet Aggies and face reality. No pun intended

But wait, they beat A&M in an exhibition basketball game.

What's the funniest, is that A&M fans think they have a say in the matter. They'll play who they are told when they are told. They can play make believe with their other three open dates.

This is about competition between the SEC and Big12. The B12 loaded their wagon onto the Longhorn Network and screwed over good programs like Nebraska, and Mizzou, and ATM.

Why would Texas A&M, now a contributing member of the SEC, help the B12 and Texas network?

Does CocaCola agree to participate in head to head events that benefit Pepsi? Does Nike sign up for programs that put money in Adidas' pocket? Screw Texas and the Big12, let them sell their own crappy product.

Saying Mike Slive was incompetent is like saying Albert Einstein was illiterate. Mike Slive was probably the best collegiate commissioner of all time, in any conference. He set the bar so high that he will be revered in sorts management circles for decades. This just shows how fricking stupid you are.

Expansion didn't hurt the SEC, it kept them in the forefront. If the SEC had passed, and the B1G went to 14, and PAC to 16, the SEC would have been way behind in market share. Atlanta would be your only large market. Now you have Houston, DFW and St. Louis along with Atlanta.

If you not playing Tennessee and Florida is your gripe, then your school needs to do more to push our league to go to 9 games, or end TSIO enabling Auburn and Missouri to switch divisions.

Other than that, you need to shut the frick up because you are an uneducated twat.

Who are you under the impression it will be that will do the telling? A&M and the SEC have nothing to gain from bolstering the longhorns SOS. Right now we have Clemson, Colorado, Miami, and Notre Dame on the docket.I love the A&M/horn game because I have a lot of family that went to both, but for now I'm perfectly content with letting them burn out on their own.

Nevusae the SEC was ruined by expansion due to incompetence leadership. And no one is willing to call Slive the incompenet moron he was. I will not get to travel to Neyland for a dozen years be use we added you Aggots in the West. The SEC is now basically two separate conferences which sucks. Of course you clowns were voted in because we were on track to lose millions without expansion. That is the only reason you are here.

Pretty much this. It's a damn shame. Here in Atlanta, the SEC melting pot, I work side by side with Gator fans, cocks, Vols, yet never play them anymore. Nothing personal against ATM sand Mizzou, but I sure miss playing some of the traditional east opponents.

There's not that much on our side IMO. Some of the older Ags yeah but younger people just generally don't care. None of my friends from college have ever called me up to discuss the longhorns

Then change your fight song.

Texas has been pretty bad, especially on defense. I believe Texas A&M would have won the last six years.

Texas can boast all they want, but they have not been the premier football team in Texas in many years.
